  1. I think I'm officially done with this particular thread for at least a week. Jesus..
  2. Listen to yourself. The ballon D'or is an individual award. We pay Hazard's wages to win us big TEAM trophies not to win the ballon d'Or. If he wins it, i'll be very happy for him but the mere fact he plays for an English club and not the two big Spanish ones puts him in a disadvantaged position. Hazard, like every incredibly talented young player from that side of the globe dreams of winning the silly award. He's seen some of his favourite players like Zidane win it in the past and will like to win it as well. But the award has since lost it's value when it was taking from France Football and players started voting for their friends. Henry couldn't win it because UEFA hate England/English football. That's Thierry freaking Henry. That's when I realized being a great player is not enough to win the farcical award. It's even worse now that it's merged with FIFA and in this Ronaldo/Messi era. It's also very political. Have you seen the way they campaign for it in Spain? One Madrid player comes out and says "Ronaldo is the best player in the world", then next day a Barca player comes out and says "Messi is not from this planet". You think that's coincidental? Or Madrid and Ancelotti writing letters to UEFA complaining about Platini offering an opinion on who should win it? I don't want that shit near my club and I don't think it's in the spirit of football. Ballon D'or is bad for football. Mourinho said so himself. I don't want that shit anywhere near my club. More to the point, why should Hazard be measured by a dream that he has? That's absurd logic. It has nothing to do with nothing and only devalues the quality of the comments. It's a strange comment to make especially as Hazard has been amazing all season and it's only an individual award that does nothing for Chelsea. But type whatever suits you, I guess.
  3. I don't see what else Kasmirski can do to establish himself as the number 1 left-back. Pretty amazing free-kick from the lad. https://mtc.cdn.vine.co/r/videos/2E0128D1E81156745649895669760_3309d831b4a.1.3.12817752881246750435.mp4?versionId=R1lxfZN.9BSkgM6qLPVmGA22zKmxYFh9
  4. Comments such as the one I replied to are what makes this particular thread on this particular forum unreadable at times. People moaning like bitches about Hazard needs to do this and that. Last time he "needs to score away" now he "didn't score a brace?". Really? Are you 10? No seriously?! This isn't FIFA, ffs. Fuck off.
  5. I just can't trust him to start games, especially away from home at this moment in time. You never know what to expect from Andre and that's what worries me the most about him.
  6. Why are you always moaning about anything and everything Hazard does? Jeez, take a chill pill, it's becoming embarrassing.
  7. Can Luis now be starting every game, huh? Dude is pure class. And why isn't Loic on the pitch?
  8. He's very fast, Boga and has a great change of pace to match his quickness. The only guy I can think of that is clearly quicker is Kiwomya and maybe Izzy. And to answer your question, yes, he has played out-wide, particularly on the right on several occasions for the youth team but his best position is central.
  9. I feel we can control Zlatan. Lucas Moura will be their biggest threat, at least in the 1st leg.
  10. Even if by some miracle they have a commanding win in Ukraine, they'll get absolutely murdered in Germany.
  11. That Arsenal draw is actually tougher than it looks. Yes, Monaco lost Falcao and Rodriguez but they still have some very good players and it won't be easy at their place. An upset there won't surprise me a lot.
  12. Some great match-ups there. JT vs Zlatan, Moura and Hazard on that left side, Fabregas vs Matuidi, Costa vs Thiago Silva/David Luiz (!) It's best we face the best now instead of some Mickey Mouse team. If we beat them, it will give us extra confidence to go on and win the whole thing. If we lose, we've lost to a great team, so we can focus on winning the league.
  13. There is a livestream btw: http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/index.html?v=1418641192151
  14. And did nothing. He's a sensational player, obviously, but sometimes I feel his size and lack of pace works against him vs certain defenders.
  15. Basel is probably the easiest team we can draw and Juventus probably the hardest. I want a good CL showing but the desperation to win the league is much greater for me.
  16. This is the article I was referring to by the way, smart aleck. http://worldsoccertalk.com/2007/10/22/top-20-biggest-pitches-in-the-premier-league/
  17. I'm not upset at all, it's just a pretty daft mistake for him to make. It also doesn't help he always asks the players stupid/random questions in the post-match interviews. I know he's part of the furniture at the club, but I know some CFC fans that don't like him. Myself included.
  18. I was basing that over an article I read which is completely different from that one e.g Anfield and Stamford Bridge had the exact same dimensions. Still, it's weird how Barnett says we have the smallest pitch when it's not even close.
  19. "Smallest pitch in the Premier league". Is Neil Barnett drunk or something? We certainly don't have the smallest pitch, that's West Ham. He's always talking bollocks and asking daft questions.
  20. None of these saves are very difficult to make. Can you compare those to the ones Cech made vs Bayern for example? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1fVVnoe2OE
  21. Oxlade Chamberlain is slightly better than him but doesn't receive anywhere near the same hype.
