Drogba is incredibly poor. We are in serious trouble vs Man United and Arsenal if Remy's calf injury is serious.
-
Azpilicueta at RB would have put in a better ball than that.
-
Terrible from Ivanovic.
-
Ramires AKA, the worst player at Chelsea, on for Oscar, a distinctly average player.
-
Long ball to Willian. Yep, makes sense.
-
Yeah, Oscar is less woeful than Ramires which says a lot.
-
Oscar and Ramires need to GTFO in the summer, to unreliable, painfully average footballers. They'll have a great time in Serie A , which is their level. Neither player will start for Arsenal let alone a Barca or Bayern, which speaks volumes.
-
This is like the 4th or 5th time that is happening this season.
-
I actually thought he was talking about Veratti there, ffs.
-
We desperately need an attacking coach in the summer. There were rumours on twitter about Zola coming back to be an attacking coach. God, I hope it's true.
-
This! This is what the team should have been in the first place.
-
WTF are you talking about? This has sweet fuck all to do with Oscar. Yeah, right.
-
Width? Azpilicueta can't make a forward pass. Ivanovic is back to his clueless self in the final third, an incredible regression from earlier season form. We have no fullbacks.
-
Styles made a comment about technical level. Is the technical level of these players substandard : Terry NO, Azpi (when played at RB, like in his first season under Benitez) NO, Filipe Luis NO, Matic NO, Fabregas NO, Hazard NO, Willian NO, Drogba at 37 YES, Ramires YES. But the team Mourinho has chosen i.e his obsession on playing Azpilicueta out of position is hampering us. Mourinho is hamstrung by Ramires and Oscar being awful and Mikel not being fully fit, but that's no excuse. The team is also fundamentaly lacking in mentality, I think. Drogba is playing does not mean long balls to start every attack. Does not mean long ball from every throw. That's all on the manager.
-
It's not even a matter of technical level. It's Mourinho's incistence on picking the same team and same players. Azpilicueta has no fucking business playing left back. He's incredibly limited there, perhaps the most limited fullback in the league. Mourinho picks him only to defend, which is ridiculous against the 18th placed team in the league.
-
Our ability to pass out from the back is atrocious. Sure doesn't help when you have Ivanovic, Cahill and an out of position Azpilicueta either. Azpilicue Ramires is a non-factor with the ball at his feet. And just because Drogba is on the pitch doesn't mean we should thump it up at every opportunity. Hazard is struggling to get on the ball. Mourinho should obviously have started Filipe Luis in this game. Drogba, absolute gash. We need some magic from Hazard or a set-piece or else we're in trouble.
-
Has Azpilicueta completed a single forward pass in this game yet?
-
Ivanovic crying Drogba didn't make himself available. The fecker should be trying to keep it on the ground.
-
Woeful pass from Ivanovic. We look average.
-
Awful football. Long ball after long ball like the old Wimbledon. Awful.
-
Remy's injury, very convenient indeed. Just like earlier in the season when Costa got injured, Remy also got injured as well. Clears the way for lord Drogba, I guess.
-
it was 20-22 yards out, ffs. Messi's goal was better.
-
That's why Hazard should be moved to the 10 role and Greizmann would have the left wing. Right now, our attacking midfielders simply aren't good enough. Even Arsenal are better in that position than us, not to even mention the likes of Madrid and Bayern. There aren't a lot of goals in this team and that's a big problem.
-
If we can't sign Reus or Bale, we should be doing everything we can to sign Griezmann.
-
Calm your tits, guys! We have to go out there and dominate them. Dominate the possession. The more we do that, the less likely Fab or Matic will be booked. We must not allow them to turn it into a battle.
