I thought Schurrle was the most intelligent runner we had, but wow, Salah really does know how to get in behind. Not just a pair of legs by any stretch of the imagination. I don't really understand the complainers; maybe they have to look a little closer next time. I thought he had a good game other than his finishing. Can't wait to see him develop further.

You need to watch him more often then. Salah is very good in tight spaces, he showcased that at Basel, and showcased it internationally at Egypt, and also showcased it in our last game in periods and did so too against Stoke, Swansea and Arsenal.

I’m just as surprised as Skipper to read this. How can anyone dismiss his talents or place any limits on his potential based on two starts? It’s not as if he even performed poorly. In both of those starts the kid got into great goal scoring positions, created a handful of chances for his teammates, showed great skill and ball control in tight areas. Even scored a cracking goal against Stoke and against Swansea, was overall the best attacking player on the pitch. Stats wise he received the highest rating on whoscored for his performances in both starts.
Are we actually going to ignore all of these things and just focus exclusively on the missed chances?

Salah is getting into great positions but you guys want him off? Jesus fucking Christ.

The guy asked him if he remembers his beginnings..He replies he remember everything since he used to play on the streets in a small village called Basyoun.He is then asked about his first goal and transfer to Switzerland. He said the moment Mourinho called him and told him that he fits the system and has a future in Chelsea that was enough for him to change his mind despite the talks with Liverpool that have been going on since October. He said that the reception when he arrived to Chelsea was great and he appreciated how the team and staff welcomed him. He was asked about the Arsenal goal and what was going on with Mourinho. He said that before he got subbed Mourinho told him take to take it easy, and play his game and feel no pressure and this game is perfect for him and he will score. He was asked about Mourinho saying that Salah will be an important player for Chelsea next season. Salah said knowing this makes him happy but he is not going to wait till next year. Very good signing on what I have seen so far - very encouraging.
Also pleased for the lad, he was told next season and he said, I want to fight for this season and he has been rewarded.
We haven't had a smile like that since Makelele or the Bison - probably need it on the pitch and in the dressing room

Watching him made me feel happy yesterday. I've never seen a footballer play with such a smile on his face. His love for the game is immense.
