We paid 30 million for him, far too much if you ask me, considering that we bought Hazard for 32 million (a fair price was probably 22-25) and we are going to need to see some more productivity in terms of goals and assists. Hard-work, running and contribution in both halfs of the pitch is not enough at that price. Also needs to be more direct when he's in the box instead of putting in hopeful low-crosses. Can still improve a lot.

If we are just talking about dribbling ability alone, then Hazard is better, IMO. Messi gets dispossessed far too often nowadays. Not like in the past were his dribbling was unrivaled. In that sense, he's regressed. But of course Messi makes up for it by being a goal-scoring machine in an inferior league.
