How is Kalou in the slightest bit similar to Pulisic after all is said and done, do tell? Kalou cost a relatively small sum from the Dutch league whilst Pulisic was playing at a whole different level in his teens. We bought Cuadrado a year after his hotstreak, which is something we always seem to do. You would have hoped so considering he was playing with better players for two years.

Midfielder is such a broad position. De Bruyne is probably a better all round midfielder, but Kante is a close second/best DM.

First two are the only options that could be appealing. Donnarumma seems to be littered with mistakes nowadays.

I think it mainly came down to wanting more money and the club not buckling unlike CHO or believing he wasn't worth it. Ibe is still grinding out a living at Bournemouth, so I doubt they will part way with him in the near future tbh.

I don't see them replacing Samir anytime soon. Still think he's the best GK in Serie A, but Meret has looked decent thus far.
