Loftus-Cheek has been fantastic today

Kante definitely showed signs of improvement in that Burnley game but I still agree that Kovacic might be a better option for that role in certain games against smaller teams. His ability to carry the ball is Hazard-esque and with that he can create space for the other attackers. He's more creative and better passer than Kante as well in my opinion and probably is more likely to score the odd goal once in a while.

They are basically saying that Hazard is the most powerful man in world football at the moment, having the final word on Real Madrid's manager appointments from afar lmao

We would have scored another 10 or so goals this season in PL if we had Icardi, Diego Costa, Higuain or even Samuel Eto'o instead of Morata and Giroud up there. Look at Morata's chances against United! Proper striker would have scored a brace in that game

To those who watched yesterday's Barca-Inter game, would you realistically see Kante in that fantastic midfield instead of Rakitic, Arthur or Busquets. I wouldn't. He might not even start for Man City. Great player but obviously can't play in every system. Just like Jorginho or Busquets would look like Tom Cleverley in Mourinho's tactics

He's still a human though and his playing style is so demanding that he can't continue playing at this level for many years. If we were to sell him, summer 2019 would be THE time to do just that

What do you mean kinda meh? Unbeaten this season, two points off the top in the league, playing good football and improving nearly every week. It's been far better start to the season than most of us could have even dreamed for. Our problem is that there is no qualified goal scorer in this team, otherwise we would have easily beaten United and West Ham as well IMO

Just shows how good and strong the squad is overall. That's, apart from Giroud, Kovacic, Kepa and Pedro, our second XI. Shame about Pedro starting though, I was really hoping to see Hudson-Odoi.
