4-3-3 with Emerson and Kante it is!

Really not sure which is the right formation for this one. In case Kante and Emerson are fit that 4-3-3 we played against them in the Super Cup might be the best and yet I'm worried about Azpi going against in-form Mane. If we go with the 3-4-3 we would largely concede our midfield to Liverpool midfield trio+Firmino and Azpi as right wingback simply doesn't give enough attacking threat to make us a create anything other than blind crosses into the box. Interesting to see what Lamps comes up with. We can definitely win this one if he gets it absolutely spot on. One of those games that could end in 2-0 or 0-4

This is arguably the most frustrating type of player you can think of. Gervinho, Willian etc. the world is unfortunately full of them. Have all the ability in the world but due to poor decision making get nothing done

Tomori-Christensen-Azpi backline would be ideal given the circumstances. But who would play RWB then? Pedro? Nevertheless, 3-5-2 or 3-6-1 might the way to go. Valencia plays 4-4-2 so a back 3 would take care of their two attackers and we could still have 3vs2 or 4vs2 advantage in central midfield

Who knows what is happening behind closed doors, could be further negotiation about wage, assurances over game time or other clauses. Could be Chelsea wanting to see how he recovers from his injury before agreeing megamoney contract with the kid. Who knows.

Yeah there's definitely lot of work ahead in that department. I do however expect us to improve quite a bit once we get Rudiger and James into the XI and Zouma as far away from XI as possible
