  1. Any recent updates on Hazard for Saturday? Probably better to hold him out for the next three if not 100%. Come on you Chelsea!
  2. Woo-hoo! Man City only gets one point tonight. We control our own destiny for the last four. Let's win all! Have been in UK since Saturday. Toured the Bridge on Sunday. Awesome! Have my tickets for Saturday's match. So pumped! Come on you Chelsea!
  3. Come on Chelsea, take this match and next Sunday vs Sunderland to set up a huge one with Liverpool. I am flying into the UK Saturday and will not get to catch the Swansea match, but will be at the Bridge for Sunderland. First time in atendance. Cannot wait for matchday. Come on you Chelsea!! :blue scalf: :blue scalf:
  4. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!! Listened to the match driving home from work. Got home 5 minutes after it was over. Just watched. Holy cow! What an atmosphere! Way to go Blues fans for bringing your best to the Bridge tonight! At a loss where to start. Luiz owned the midfield. Entire back line of Ivanovic, JT, GC and Azp contolled things well and Cech had huge plays late to preserve the win. Schurrle was a real difference maker. What hustle all night long. Great goal and almost a second. Willian and Schurrle made for a great combo. Great strategy from Mourinho. He had the boys prepared for this one. Bringing in Ba "and" Torres. Brillliant! Though Schurrle had a bigger impact due to his greater number of minutes, I had to go with Ba for the MOTM, because he freaking finished like a Jedi Master when we had to have it. I'll tip my hat to Torres as well as he showed the best movement and hustle to the ball I have seen in awhile from him. Can't wait until the next UCL match up. Not sure it matters who we get. Got my tickets for the 20th vs Sunderland and am beyond excited for the trip over. Guess they may move this game with us in the UCL semi finals now. I suppose the only real option would be to move it to Saturday. Any ideas? Woooooooo-hooooooooo! Celebrate proud and loud tonight! Come on you Chelsea!! :blue scalf: :blue scalf:
  5. Woo-hoo! Top of the table for another day. Let's go Hammers tomorrow! Great work Salah, Willian and the crew! Come on you Chelsea! :blue scalf: Can't wait until the next home game. I will make it to Stamford Bridge for my first time on the 20th. Flying in from the US.
  6. I had hoped and posted in the pre-match that the lineup, whatever it may be, would bring high energy. It was MUCH needed after the last two matches. Jose had the right recipe for energy! Stoke may be garbage today, but at least we did not match them in the waste category like we have at times this year. Enjoyable match. Come on you Chelsea! The season is not over just yet. The trophy could still be ours! :blue scalf:
  7. Very pleased with Salah and Willian today. Terrific energy. Come on you Chelsea, get the clean sheet and win going away! :blue scalf: :blue scalf:
  8. Time for the Club to re-focus. Get the last two matches out of everyone's system and start fresh for a final 6 game run. We control on our own destiny with Liverpool, so being down 2 points is not the end of the world. Besides, they may get surprised Sunday at West Ham. Man City will likely lose at either Liverpool or Everton and draw the other. I cannot see them taking more than 1 out of those possible 6 points. So, what does that mean for the boys in Blue? Get your mind right and win out. 87 points just might bring home the Trophy! This begs the question: Will the squad be into the game today or just show up and go through the motions? I want to see energy on the pitch this afternoon. Why not this XI: - - - - Cech - - - - Ivanovic - JT - Cahill - Azp - - Willian - Matic - - - Salah - Oscar - Hazard - - - - - Schurrle - - - - Probably will see this XI: - - - - Cech - - - - Ivanovic - JT - Cahill - Azp - - Lampard - Matic - - - Schurrle - Oscar - Hazard - - - - - Torres - - - - Come on you Chelsea!! :blue scalf:
  9. I like your preferred lineup. Has Schurrle started a match along side Willian all year? I do not think so, but would like to see how they play together.
  10. Have I missed the news on Eto'o? Is he definitely out tomorrow? I see a lot of folks have Torres in the lineup. At least he seems to play better in UCL match-ups. Funny thing about Torres, he looks the part. He is certainly part of the "All Bus" team, as in he looks like a world class player getting off the bus prior to the match. If he could just play to that level. I digress. Huge match tomorrow. Come on you Chelsea and bring a win home tomorrow night! :blue scalf: :blue scalf:
  11. OK, its been three hours since the disaster. Truth is, not much different than if Man City and us had each won today. We would need them to drop 4 points at least, now its 5. They still have to go to Liverpool on the 13th and I think that is 3 points for the Scousers, especially with it being the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster. Liverpool controls their own destiny at this point and they will be sky high that day. "If" Chelsea can take care of business over the next three, and who knows if we do, but if we do and Liverpool beats Man City on the 13th, you would head into the April 27th match at Liverpool like this (given Liverpool and Man City win their other games as well): Liverpool - 80 points on 35 games played Chelsea - 78 points on 35 games played Man City - 76 pts on 34 games played So, if that is the top of the table on the morning of April 27th, I'll take it at this juncture. A Chelsea win at Anfield would put us back on top of the table, with Man City having four to play: at CP 4-27, at Everton 5-3, Aston Villa 5-7 and West Ham 5-11. I think Man City can lose 2 points out of those 12. I know today just sucked, and we all are disgusted, but get your mind right and let's win these last 6 matches and see how everyone else does. Bench Torres for the rest of the year and play Lamps sparingly and let's give it all we got. Come on you Chelsea! :blue scalf:
  12. Lampard and Luiz hurting us in this one. Poor timing on passing. Lampard getting beat to balls. Need Oscar and Wiilian/Salah on. Come on you Chelsea! :blue scalf: :blue scalf:
  13. Let's come out and bury a weaker opponent early for a change. This can be a great day, especially if we get a little Gooner help with Man City. I'll go with 4-0 Chelsea, Hazard, Lampard, Ivanovic and Matic. Come on you Chelsea! :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf: On a side note, got my tickets for the Sunderland match on the 20th of April for my first game at Stamford Bridge. Flying in from the States earlier in the week. Cannot wait!
  14. Gonna get a chance real soon for this. Next four: 25th at Man U, 29th at Arsenal, 5th Southampton at home and then 13th of April at Liverpool. Very possible to see them drop 4+ points in that group. Man U is trying to regain a little swagger after advancing in Champions League so this Tuesday's match at Old Trafford is a real redemption game for them. It starts Tuesday. If they drop 4 or more, it should really come down to the match at Anfield on the 27th of April. Come on you Chelsea! Win the Trophy! :blue scalf:
  15. And Liverpool. That game on April 27th at Anfield is beyond HUGE. It may be for the trophy. A draw may even work for us, but probably need to win out to out run Man City.
  16. I say, six scarves :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf: for six goals on those Gooners! Schurrle played a terrific match. MOTM! He was involved in the first three goals. He seems to be in much better form than Willian at the moment. I like Luiz and Matic in midfield. They seem to control play very well. Salah! Glad to see the nice finish. Once again JT, Cahill, Ivanovic and Azpilicueta provide the shut down back line. Eto'o nice finish. Hope the injury is not too bad. Great finish by Oscar on the brilliant assist from Torres. Hazard had a solid game and is an assassin on the penalties. Jose, great strategy as always and great celebrations! Blues fans, just awesome all day, especially: We know who you are, we know who you are, specialist in failure, we know who you are! Roman, having fun in the stands! Team bus driver, great job getting the team in on time. Weather, beautiful day at the Bridge. Arsene? Happy 1,000! Arsenal fans? Bahahahahahahahaha. See you later. BLUE is the Color and SIX is the Number! Come on you Chelsea! Brilliant day for Blues everywhere! :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf:
  17. Yes!! Pretty solid performance. Hazard so close to one of those magician moves for either his goal or an awesome assist. Kept waiting for it. Regardless, what a player. Everyone was good tonight. I'll even throw Torres in there to make it a team effort. Why sub Kalas for the final 10 seconds? Keep the momentum going Saturday! Come on you Chelsea! :blue scalf:
  18. I am going to stop with the victory predictions by 2 and 3 goals. They always turn out to be gut wrenching, late one goal wins. I'll go with a late goal by Oscar and a 2-1 Chelsea win today. Come on you Chelsea! :blue scalf:
  19. So, how many points is it going to take to win the league this year? Our maximum point total is 93 as is Man City. Liverpool and Arsenal are at 89. We are averaging 2.28 points per game and are on pace for 86.48. 86 will not win the league in my opinion, nor will 87 or 88. I think it will take 89+. Need to take 4 out of 6 from the two remaining games with Liverpool and Arsenal. I feel Man City has a loss or maybe two left in them with their busy schedule coming up. As many have said on here, we cannot take any of these league games lightly from here on out. Win the league! Come on you Chelsea! :blue scalf:
  20. He is always hustling all over. He shut down one counter attack himself by just out-hustling them to the ball.
  21. Man, still enjoying the day / night after the 4-0 win! Thought Schurrle and Eto'o lacked some chemistry in the 1st half when each could have passed to the other wide open for a good look instead of being a bit selfish. Really disappointed with Schurrle's passing today. Matic looked like he owned midfield. Lamps just struggles at times. I hate it, but he is not the best option out there at this point, which is difficult to say about a legend. Oscar looked a little quicker than he had in recent games once he came on. Hazard and Eto'o just marvelous today. Come on you Chelsea! :blue scalf:
  22. 4-0! One Step Beyond and one step closer - to the title, baby! Come on you Chelsea! :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf: (Ba, MOTM. Why not, when else will get the chance )
