First half was a nightmare. Worst i've seen him playing with us. Second half he raised his game a little. Before judging, one should consider that Cesc actually tries risky stuff. It's not that he is failing to pass it backwards. He wasn't getting there but kept going. I didn't feel at all that he wanted to hide like others do sometimes. That i respect. He is also not getting any help lately from Oscar and Matic in the midfield. They are also not performing well lately and it's a team sport. Look how Ramires did a fine job being his partner once he came on and that helped Cesc a little. Ballsy move from Jose that. Yes he was awful, but it's not right imo to back up that 2nd half of the season crap. It's just a bad spell we are having collectively.

If it was an agenda against us then they would also have to make a big deal out of Diego's push because he was indeed out of control, but there were other stuff more juicy to give emphasis to, like the red card and how we supposedly surrounded disgracefully the ref. Likewise Luiz's elbowing wasn't as interesting to them as his celebration and being sorry afterwards etc... Agenda is a strong word to use imo, but the truth is we are indeed one of the most harshly judged clubs in Europe. Fact.

This. I didn't expect us to go very far at CL either, but we let PSG do to us what we used to do in the past to other teams so... it's the worst way i'd imagine us to go out. Thoughts for Southampton: I definitely want to see Cuadrado at least as a sub, Jose come on! And Luis! Costa has to play to continue improving form but maybe not full 90 minutes. Normally i'd want to sub Remy on at 60-70 min whatever scoreline, except if Costa is absolutely on fire. I am not sure about GC though on that one. Southampton can be tricky enough for him. Zouma is the best option imo. Fabregas and Matic have to try and do their best. It's been a while since i've seen both of them bossing it in sync. They are the most important part of the team.

He's not going to be forever at Wolfsburg. Be patient when the time comes. It's early to judge our decision still.
