Good morning! Another thriller, but we managed to get the points. It must be very frustrating for the rivals to think time after time that we are going to lose points but in the end we don't! This time we weren't bad or even average to deserve it imo. We played well enough to keep a clean sheet and score 2-3 goals, but football is crazy. - Matic has finally showed signs of his earlier form. I think it's safe to say that both he and Cesc will be completely back on form in a couple of matches. We look so much better with them controlling the midfield. - Willian had a great match and i would probably vote him for MOTM, however i couldn't ignore Hazard's performance. From another planet again. - Remy with another goal. Truly wonderful signing, can't describe how grateful i am. It's going to be his time now and he totally deserves the minutes. Let's hope Costa is not serious though, we want to have options obviously, but nonetheless i am not worried at all about Remy stepping on his shoes for as long as it takes. He is fantastic. - Cuadrado wasn't that awful imo. He just needs time to adapt and build some muscle obviously. Then we'll talk about it. Not fair to judge harshly yet. - Oscar had a good start but deflated quickly. Frustrating . - I honestly thought at first that Tibo should't have conceded that goal but then i don't know much about goalkeeping positions so fair enough. I have changed my mind when i read about other opinions. -Again, why Luis was benched i don't know. We would have been even better with him on the left and Azpi on the right. All and all a good performance and it was about time, we will have to deal with some top sides soon.

Obviously (@ bold), but yes i would say that we deserve it if today was the last fixture because I can't simply judge a team over just 2-3 months. It's not a knock out competition or a cup, it's a league and the dynamics are complex. You can't expect to win a league by playing beautiful football all the time. There's fatigue, mental issues and other factors. It's not a coincidence that we started dipping just after the 5-3 loss. I am grateful too for our first half but i also try to be patient right now because i know the players especially are having a difficulty mentally. It showed last season and at times this season too. But we are looking like we're going to win it because every time the last couple of weeks we found ourselves behind we managed to take the necessary points. It's not a shame to be able to do that. People need to be more patient and support their team (i'm referring generally don't take this personally please).

Not unexpected. Just as soon as a young English talent may have risen they immediately turn on the wankfest. And it probably adds more pressure to Kane which may or may not be good for him but given his age it's probably not good.

Good post. We just need to accept that Willian will never be the equivalent of Hazard in the right wing. He is great for certain stuff and a useful player to have and possibly a starter. I don't care as long as it works, and if we're going to win the PL with him playing regularly then so be it. Just look at the examples provided above (Navas, A. Young) from other teams and be satisfied with what we have in comparison. Now if come Summer we go for a real starting 11 player for that position we need someone like Bale but that's another discussion.
