  1. I've had exactly the same thought as this, and quite frankly, it's getting old!!
  2. I honestly believe Chelsea are being edged out here by Everton. I think the home side have had much the better chances, and I also think Tim Howard is hard to beat at the moment. Generally however, I feel it's our midfiel that's not functioning properly. Essien got muscled out of a challenge which hardly ever gets seen!!
  3. Come on Chelsea!! Time to beat Everton today!!
  4. Fernando Torres AND David Luiz in 4 days.... could it really happen??
  5. Hahaha seriously, what an idiot he could turn out to be, if he joins us! :541:
  6. yeah, but I wouldn't hold that thought to ransom. There's more to this saga yet I reckon
  7. You can tell that scouse fans hate their players when they leave for rival clubs, because they give them so much stick, and send them nasty parting gestures like some of the examples Stuart posted up. Whereas we on the other hand, give our ex-players good luck and we still admire them. Just shows us what a bunch of sad whingers Liverpool fans are!
  8. I'm exactly the same! Either that or I just mute the TV when the adverts come on!
  9. No he doesn't, so a raw £40million plus player deal could be on the cards
  10. Liverpool have rejected Torres' transfer request according to SkySports http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11669_6707590,00.html
  11. That's what I pointed out earlier. Torres could quite easily say all of this talk is nonsense, and he'll say he wants to stay at Liverpool.
  12. I honestly believe it's very little time to convince Liverpool to sell one of their prized assets, which is why I feel this transfer won't happen. At the end of the day, Liverpool have just signed Luis Suarez, and he stated earlier that he would snub them if Torres wasn't there. He'd look a fool if he just signed, and Torres left.
  13. I honestly believe TX brings arrogance to the forums, which is a good thing! But for me, I reckon Henrique is a great member on this forum. He brings a lot of "wisdom" in his posts.
  14. Fair point, but if Roman wasn't pissing around, hiding away his money and had these ambitions for Chelsea before the start of this month, would you put a bet on Roman planning a bid for Torres then??
  15. Whispers are going around saying it will be a £40 million + Daniel Sturridge bid for Fernando Torres. I would have to shoot myself if we gave Sturridge away!
  16. I agree, but if Torres really wanted to leave Liverpool he would have done so now, while there's still a chance. He had the chance to in the summer, but he wanted to stay because he was confident Liverpool would be fighting for the league title, but the fact of the matter is, they're not! Now the window is still open he has an opportunity to leave. If Liverpool were to at least agree with Torres' demands, they would risk having an unhappy player on their hands and it would be bad for him.
  17. Jeff Stelling replaces Richard Keys Chris Kamara replaces Andy Gray Perfect
  18. It was all easy to sign players back then, because Roman gave us so much money! Nowadays, we're not as strong financially, and we don't have the club magnetism as Manchester City have, and I think that's why we're struggled to sign top players. Either that, or we have a bunch of cuntish individuals running our club that don't know their arse from their elbow when it comes to negotiating a deal... and it isn't as if Ancelotti is involved in all of it either, he just expresses his opinion to the media from time to time, and says he's interested in certain individuals, but he never actually does anything. Sadly, this cuntish behaviour by our board could prove the saviour of our club if we're trying to break even by 2013, so we can abide by UEFA's new money policy.
  19. This is from The Sun, but I can't resist putting it up on here as it sounds interesting... From a Top Liverpool source it seems as well The only thing I'm pondering, is whether this will end up with Torres making a U-turn like Rooney did some couple of months ago, or if this is actually for real.
  20. It's a pity that it's not Carlo pulling the strings when it comes to who we do or don't sign. You sort of wish he would be a part of it in some way.
  21. Liverpool can agree a fee with Ajax for Luis Suarez with no problem at all Chelsea can't agree a fee with Benfica for David Luiz who they have been chasing since last summer. ...disgrace
  22. He said to all the scouse, fuck off! Torres, Torres 'I'd rather walk alone' he said, Torres, Torres And off towards the Bridge he came to score a goal in every game Fernando Torres Chelsea's number 9
  23. We end our interest in Aguero and co to sign a Blackpool player!! Oh god!
