Now that was a great signing!! A lot of people talking about matic and yaya toure.....but somehow i am reminded of ballack or schweinstieger ...... calm and very good in reading the games and putting in tackles at the right moment and good passes forward ...... The coming of matic is a glimpse of mourinho tactics..... I dont think he wants one CM and one DM .... i think he wants positive defensive mids interchanging between themselves on who's going forward(like in liverpool game with ramires and luiz...the opposition was completly surpirised when luiz pushed forward suddenly) ..... the players who can close in quickly when off the ball and with good stamina and a good eye for a pass are rare but i think we have the best two in the world in ramires and matic also romelu is another player of that sort...wouldn't be surprised if comes back to Chelsea next season and lets not forget MVG(out injured). The only sadness is realizing if i am right is that it effectively means the end of essien & lampard...but i think mikel will survive as backup option to shut shop.

one of the best matches of the season...... Dont know if any of you watched the post match interview but jose was sugarcoating luiz and tryin to convince him to play midfield more often!! In the Special 'Happy' One we trust........ A happy new year to all

need a good energetic midfielder to compliment ramires...oh how i miss makalele....hell even merieles would have been good...biggest blunder by RDM.. Matic and Guarin seems good in that spot..... diego costa is a really good player but not what we need...jackson martinez seems better but the right guy for our 'system' is falcao...a poacher with a killer instinct.... A LB would be nice too...but a central mid most important..... But quite frankly i am not worried....we are in the top 4 and we got mourinho...win the match withh liverpool and let the maestro work his magic in the transfer window and we might even win the league this season...remember hazard,mata and oscar is not in the best of form....but at some point in this season one of them if not all will peak..!!

exept willian everybody was below par....but the worst was not essien!! he is not a RB and did a decent job( or no job ) but luiz was bad ...mikel was mikel!!....bryune was playing for himself(dont see much of a future @ chelsea)....and shurrle was also bad today!! he instead of taking an easy chance tght of passing the bloody ball to no where....Lampard is not bad but just pathetic at that position(but he gave the best pass and meaningful runs after willian!!)...eto less said the better.... i bet mourinho planned for ramires and essien pivot for arsenal match...now essien will have to sit it out.... But everybody here note this...this is the turning point.....for all the above problems we still have one solution...MOURINHO... If anybody can drill the message into the board for investing in the right areas instead of a truck load of attacking mids And if anybody can morph the at hand team into something of a title contender it is him.... I dread to imagine any other manager at the helm at this position... hoping for a special moment on monday ....

Guarin is a decent midfielder...better than mikel going forward...i think mourinho is playing smart by getting him....will be a good back up to ramires(mikel,lamps n essien dont fit the bill there)...only player on the team that might be able to play for ramires is ,i think,KDB ... but i dont know how good he can be defensively in the league.... so all in all a good calculated buy.... And if mourinho wants him then hes worth it !!

Was it just me or does our team need to find its heart and soon!!! I remember a chelsea impenetreble at the back and so calm in the midfield....for crying out loud that was crystal palace making us nervous!! Even worse was the look on mourinho's face...for him to show worry is disheartening.... This chelsea team is so inconsistent that I bet my month's salary that we are going to win at emirates!! We need a more stable midfield ..... btw essien was good (not his old self) but effective cover defense..... The wierd thing is knowing we are second and just 2 points off!!! dont know if to cry or to laugh.... My motm is terry ... covered for luiz n made decent interceptions...he may have been the difference today......
