So let me get this straight: On one hand, we unanimously agree that Chelsea has zero quality strikers and a very poor defense. We also agree that most of our best players (such as Hazard) are extremely irregular. On the other hand, you want to crucify the manager even though he's been getting it done despite having all of these problems in his hands. Some of you people speak as if we have a squad like City and Bayern. Manchester United has problems similar to ours: old players, unbalanced and inconsistent squad, poor defense, no quality strikers (RVP injured), transitional period, etc. and look where they're at. That such disgrace isn't happening to us, I give credit to the manager.

Would you prefer it if City did not destroy Arsenal? If City could do it, so can we. I firmly believe a victory against Arsenal will determine whether we have a chance of winning the league or not, because if Mourinho can show Abramovich that he can get 1st place with such shitty strikers and defense, he could perhaps convince him to spend in January.

Please remember that Schurrle won his place in the team by causing an impact in the short minutes that he was given from game to game at first. If KDB can't do that, don't tell me he doesn't deserve to be on the bench.

So Mourinho should be sacked if he can't achieve all of those things, please remind me how many of our past managers have done it all in one season recently? We manage to get one of the best managers in the world at a time we needed him more than he needed us (he could be anywhere from PSG to Inter, to City, to Milan to post-Moyes ManUnited, whereas Chelsea would have struggled to find a top manager willing to put up with impatient lunatics such as yourself). And here we are talking about sacking him while sitting at 2nd place in the league, and doing well in the Champions league.

It seems to me that approach is much better than the old one "if in doubt, sack the manager"

Arsenal will be 7 points ahead if they win their next game... Even though I'm 100% sure they'll get trashed by Chelsea and Man City this month, something tells me this season will be a close race till the very end. Our chances of winning it will be determined by whether we can sign a striker that we're 100% sure won't be a fucking flop, and whether our defense can get its shit together in set pieces. I have faith Mourinho acknowledges this and will be working on both these issues throughout January. So far I think the situation is fixable. I will only begin to panic if by the end of January we look just as good as we do now....

Clearly you haven't followed Mourinho's teams. I swear 75% of the goals Real Madrid conceded against small teams came from set pieces. Perhaps 50% from corner kicks. A lot of them during the first 10 minutes too. I used to think this happened because of Sergio Ramos' stupidity but now I guess not lol.

Some players fit some styles of football, others don't. Ibra was dropped from Barcelona because he couldn't play tiki-taka. That doesn't change the fact he was a wonderful player. Perhaps the best striker in the world at that time. Same thing with Mata. No matter how good he is, I think he simply won't be able to deliver it with the way we are currently playing.
