Just watched Hazard attacking on the left and Morata calmly strolling into the box. He's no fucking Costa that's for sure. The guy has offered nothing so far tonight.
-
This is pure shhhhhhhhiiiiiiite. Fucking embarrassing
-
I'm off to watch some paint dry....... This is too tough to watch
-
Disapointing so far. Our midfield and attack are playing well and dont deserve to be 2-0 down... Our defence on the other hand are a disgrace. WTF Rudiger!!! I played Sunday league and I'd have hoofed that ball into the next field rather than let it by me. And Luiz !! get your act together mate, you very nearly cost us one with your poor control. Morata not had a sniff
-
4-2 Not a fair reflection of the game at all. Our defensive frailties are there for all to be seen. Leaking goals like a sieve
-
WTF ??????????????????? we're actually winning
-
Attempts in second halt Chelsea 2 Watford 8......Says it all for me
-
Hre's Willian.........Now we're really fucked.
-
Well we cant say we didn't see it coming. We have an awful habit of letting in goals in injury time or the last few minutes of each half, and it's bloody frustrating. When will we ever learn??
-
Lets play 5 at the back and 5 up front and just keep launching long balls............Well all our bloody midfielders are injured so what else can we do Seriously though, it's time for our team to stand up and be counted. I know our bench is very weak, but we should have enough about us to get a result here .Play Ampadu, he's a guy that's not afraid to mix it and chase down the opposition, and now he can prove to Conte that he can hold down a spot.
-
Lets be realistic here......To challenge on all fronts like we are, you need at least two "world class" players for each position. Take City, that's exactly what the have after a good pre-season transfer market. We don't even have one "world class" player for every position. Apart from Hazard, I cant see another Chelsea player that would get into City's side. Our manager can't pull another rabbit out of the hat this year unless he gets the financial backing of the board. They can talk about bringing through youth all they like, but at the end of the day you have to buy big to stay at the top in all competitions, and we have not done that. Therefore we will reap what the board failed to sow
-
Afraid to say this but this team is just not good enough anymore. Aspi has really gone off the boil, Cahill was never on the boil, Fabregas is looking lost and offers very little if anything anymore. Bakayoko is slow and struggling with the pace of the game, Luiz although he scored is not a defensive midfielder, and never will be, Hazard could not have done any more for us and Morata faded badly in the second half. Willian is just pure shite lately and even Pedro's form has dipped severely. One and only bright point was Christensen who played very well I thought. I think it's gonna be a long tough season with sod all to show at the end of it, excpt for a new manager maybe (not saying that's what I want, but you all know what our owner is like !!)
-
Well now the score line reflects their dominance. We are pure rubbish. We've played like a team that has never played together before, and couldn't be arsed. It's embarrassing to watch and I feel sorry for the Chelsea fans who payed in to watch this capitulation
-
Maybe I'm reading this game wrong, but we are a side that hates to be pressed.Roma are pressing us high up the pitch just like City did and we can't handle it. Only 2 pieces of pure luck gave us the goals. We wont hold this unless something changes........and fast
-
Minus the passion and winning mentality we had last season. So NOT the same team
-
This team is a shadow of last seasons side. Courtois is even not on form. We look clueless and lacking in any ideas how to break down what is only a hard working team. We dont like being hassled and cant cope with the tough tackles. Alonso never got going, Zappacosta has tried but doesn't look up to this level. Bakayoko is just strolling around .Fabregas has wasted and misplaced more passes today than he did all last season. Hazard hasn't played today and has been anonymous.Bats was not at the races and for me is not good enough anyway. Luiz and Aspi have tried and gave their all. But to be beaten by Palace is, in the end unforgivable.Hold your heads in shame Chelsea players, you were disgraceful
-
It's on the Horror Channel
-
Wilian is the best player on the pitch by a mile...............for fucking Palace Cant hold the ball, cant hold off players and looks like he couldn't give a toss. Bring on Pedro NOW.
-
A win is vital, and a win is what we will get.....
-
First "Big" signing I remember seeing was Duncan Mc Kenzie from Everton. 1978 or 79 I think. He was supposed to be the dogs bollox. He just turned out to be the latter
-
Well we did get a lot of "spankings" back then, didn't we !!!!!!!!!!!
-
Alan Birchenell and Steve Kember..... Do you remember those two ??? Or am I the oldest Chelsea fan here
-
Yes, they do, but so does every London club. Bats ain't that bad of a striker and scores some vital goals for us. As for the City game, well we were out-thought and out-fought and there is no disgrace in being beaten by that City side, they totally outplayed us. Our lads know whats at stake here and know a win is vital, so lets have faith in our side to get the job done. I do see where you are coming from, and it has happened regularly in the past, but I would hope that the days of Palace and the likes turning us over are well behind us.
-
Jeez people Lets have a bit of faith in our team. We will win, no problem. Palace are rubbish and Conte wont allow a drop in performance. Will be a chance for some players to impress the boss.
-
We were not allowed to play, and closed down as soon as we got the ball.. Pep learned from his two defeats last season, and to give him credit got his revenge tonight. Overall we were very poor, but Christensen was immense .Hazard wasn't let play. I thought it a very strange decision to bring on Willian when Morata got injured. To me, it then looked like we were playing for the draw. You need a target man upfront if we are to play the way we have been playing. We were lucky it was only one goal. City look the real deal this season and wont drop many points, and they have 2 good players for nearly every position on the park. But I'm not too upset. We have played Arsenal, Spurs and City in our opening matches whereas I think this was City's first big game ( I wouldn't call Liverpool a big game) and Utd haven't played anyone of note yet, so we are still in with a fighting chance. And we wont get any tougher test than we got tonight. Although we lost, there were some positives, One was Christensen and the other was that we are fairly hard to break down when our backs are to the wall. Beware Palace, City have poked the Lion and he's angry.
