Pity everyone's being so harsh in him. he started 3 games in such a small span of time. That's the problem, not that he's a bad player. People cried when he wouldn't get a contract and are now crying when he's playing. There is no pleasing for some of us. Only talk about taking up Ginkel, if you've seen him play at Vitesse. He's more of a holding player, rarely gets forward. In the Ramires-Lampard partnership, Ramires is the one who holds. Who in their right mind would put two holding midfielders together when one needs to get forward? No point in converting Ramires into an attack-minded one, he's doing brilliant at distributing the playing and controlling the midfield.

Ribery, Lahm, and Thiago are also carrying small injuries. Just to note though, in 2012, even Chelsea had vital players out due to suspensions and so on.

I actually did intend to do on the second half, but couldn't create time. It was basically down just a little bit to fatigue. Firstly our pressing was out of place. We just couldn't do it without leaving loads of space for Hull to exploit. Luckily for us they weren't good enough to do so. You could call it kind of the same, except the pivot area, where our players even though weren't performing really well, they were disciplined. but only base it on this game and not the others.

Hmm yeah I did have a feeling that they changed. I wasn't sure about it though. But they still had their high pressing, unlike Jupp's containment. Plus usually, the striker and Thiago or Gotze (cause Kroos didn't start) would pressurise the midfield separately, that didn't happen either. I would go 50-50 on them being able to completely revert back to the tactics they employed last season.

As I said, you did not watch the game. This is not the same Bayern that was under Jupp. This is the kind of Bayern that is undergoing transition. Pep is trying to instill a different kind of tiki-taka, and the natural German instinct is resisting it. They're exactly like us. Undergoing change. Frieburg had two very pacy counter-attacks, and hit the post on one and scored the other. I didn;t say we are better than them, but they're equally bad as well. Saying that we need luck is just plain stupid.

Rafa's a completely different case. As a Chelsea fan, who's actually witnessed the comments he made about us, we couldn't give two shits about how good a manager he is.
