  1. He was bad against Bolton, against Sporting and now against Arsenal... We shouldn't criticize!
  2. And immediately afterwards he was responsible for the City goal ((Ivanovic too). Besides, the goal was created against 10 men... People are saying that he creates much more than Oscar and Willian, this is just is not true (in last season stats it was 1.Hazard 2.Willian 3. Oscar in chances created), the thing is he finds himself more often than not in the positions to finish those chances other players create (his biggest talent). I dunno now if he's really necessary for the system we play, now that we have a striker that is also making those runs. Alot of the times now they just run in each others way. The same was true against Sporting where André intercepted a ball that was pointed towards a player in a better position (Hazard to Oscar i think it was).
  3. Seems like he has relapsed into the player he was from last season. Not that i expected him to be better anyway.
  4. Sunday is his first real test imo, he got alot of flack at Barca for disappearing in the big matches. Hope he proves us all wrong
  5. Oscar was very good, and another assist for Cesc Should be easy enough to get another goal, what a weak defence.
  6. Good line-up, let's see that Hazard-Luis link-up!
  7. Yes i think, he was subbed at half-time last game too.
  8. http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2014/09/willian--here-for-the-points.html?WT.mc_id=social_20140929_32535996
  9. Im glad he is getting his hair back
  10. Costa starts so i think we can expect the same starting XI from saturday's game.

  12. You should probably post the same critisms in the André Schürrle thread then. Because Andre's probably our most selfish player in the final third this season.
  13. And here we go... after a MOTM worthy performance in our best game of the season people are still quick to criticize him. Im doing it again but just compare him with Schürrle: In the Bolton game Schürrle had like what, 17 missed shot's on target? Most people's reaction was that he was just unlucky, while he had tons of options to pass it to a player in a better position. This game Willian had like 3 wasted shots (wich where frustrating to watch) but most of the game he was at the right place at the right time beïng involved in all THREE goals. Aside from that he was defending as much as Oscar did (a huge bonus he has over Schürrle). Schürrle tends to stick to his wing, Willian likes to cut in and like you saw yesterday, our three AM's where all rotating in their positions on the field. This style also free's up Ivanovic to bomb forward because Willian and Oscar both aren't shy of doing the dirty work in defending and dropping back to pick up the ball. Couple of reasons i think he get's so much hate is because 1. His signing led too the departure of Mata 2. Flashy young prospects like KDB and Schürrle (although Schürrle is only 2 years younger) where more out of the team than in it. 3. His pricetag. 4. Him arriving at a moment when we didn't need another AM (on paper). José had clear intentions in bringing in Willian, and he probably is the first real Mourinho signing because André was more of a board signing. Like it or not, Willian is a Mourinho favorite and when in form he will always have a spot in the team. I also think Mourinho wasn't lying when he said in the pre-match conference he would pick his "best" team to play Villa, although most would argue Schürrle is more useful against teams that park the bus. In the following interview with Holland he mentions Willian getting more goals should become a result of him placing himself in those goalscoring area's at the right time. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x26rn4z_holland-first-goal-was-really-important-hd_sport
  14. Idd, now i also hope we will see the Oscar/Fabregas/Matic partnership more in the big games.
  15. I think yesterday's game was another example where it showed he's not essential for the system we play. Mourinho wasn't happy at all with his performance, when questioned about if he used the subs to rest certain players he answered "it was only in regard towards Costa, the other subs where made to make the team better". It was a while ago that i saw Hazard getting subbed that early.
  16. Don't think Mourinho will rotate much because it's a match we really want to win. Probably only Remy/Drogba in for Costa.
  17. Brilliant game tbh, ran the show with Oscar while Hazard was very quiet today. Aside from those wasted shots on goal (wich where frustrating too watch), i couldn't ask for more.
  18. 1 goal and 1 assist for Willian this game , shutting his haters up.
  19. Rested for Sporting, should be a safe win anyway.
  20. Our interchanging has been glorious to watch today.
