  1. Okay, I think we should leave that Russian clubs and money topic for now. I said that they are just possible destinations, not that they are really interested in Mandzukic anyways. As my point is that it is better playing as a first choice in smaller CL clubs rather than on the bench in a top clubs. Yeah, but City play with 2 strikers in front, and we play with 1 striker, that is a huge difference. No way he would be happy to play mostly as a sub. As I said earlier if Mandzukic ready to play as a second choice, I bet he would stay at Bayern, but my main point is he will not. Surely he will choose a club that can guarantee the first choice as well as CL football, like Arsenal, Atletico, Roma, Dortmund, etc. And with Diego Costa looks like a done deal (I am sure Jose convinced him to come as a first choice striker), I don't think Chelsea will be in top of Mandzukic's list. If you think they are not that much different, why we should have both when we only play with 1 striker? Young player like Lukaku will be much better as a sub or backup.
  2. Money does matter, sir. I said it doesn't make sense for him to come to us if we have signed Costa. How come you think it is a better situation if you will warm the bench most of the time than playing in Russia with more money and CL? Also Mandzukic is not in a condition with tight strikers competition for Croatia. Olic soon will retired. With his age and ability he will be automatically chosen, wherever he plays, as long as he play regularly. But most of the time he will warm the bench, I don't think he will be happy with that. Yes, unless Jose have a plan to play 2 strikers in front.
  3. Found this old article about Costa : http://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/reds-target-costa-most-hated-player-in-la-liga-29469666.html - earn money so he could treat girls - involve in an incident where he didn't have the money to pay for a date - was used to seeing players elbowing each other in the face and thought it was the norm - banned for slapping an opponent and going for the referee Amaya, "If my team-mates (in Real Betis) had not held me back I would have killed him (Costa)" Perfect To anyone who hate him right now, it is normal, as he's the type of player you love when he's on your team but hate when he's on the other team, they said.
  4. If he is ready for second choice, I bet he will stay at Bayern. Playing time? Not much, if you have Costa around.
  5. Arsenal - we all know that, Giroud's rumour, wage exception -> Ozil Dortmund - agree, but it could happen if he force it, Dortmund have no striker Napoli - fair point, I forgot that FSW has left behind 4-4-2 formation Russian Clubs - CL football, sky high transfer fees, very decent wage -> Hulk, Witsel, Willian, Eto'o Hulk and Witsel still got a call up for their country despite playing in Russia, decent wage, decent bonus, CL football, Beer, AVB, what else you don't like except the artificial pitch, weather and riot?
  6. Arsenal, Atletico, Dortmund, Roma, Napoli, some Russian clubs
  7. It would be a strange feeling watching Lampard still playing in World Cup while we announce to release him for free at 1st July. I hope we could finalize the deal before World Cup.
  8. Doesn't make sense in my opinion, as he will be the second choice too in here behind Costa. Isn't it better for him to go to other clubs as a first choice striker? There are a lot of clubs who could offer that along with CL football and decent wages. It would be strange if he choose us instead.
  9. Yup, I think I made a mistake there. Most probably mixed that up with bullshit rumours merry around at that time. Sky only confirm that : http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8802120/sky-sources-chelsea-move-for-napoli-striker-edinson-cavani Come to think of it, why we have never bid for Cavani, if we have had a confirmed approach?
  10. I find it is hard to believe Mandzukic want to join us, if Jose told him we have sign Costa.
  11. Heard that they dubbed him the next Gerrard, hope he doesn't slip too much.
  12. As far as I could remember there are rumour we have agreed deal around 50 millions for Cavani from SSN, as I remember someone celebrated it already because it is Sky. I don't know maybe they have removed that article, or maybe I am wrong and mixed that up with others media. Apologize for the confusion.
  13. Recent rumour said that Bayern interested to buy Luiz too in around 25 millions.
  14. Which first team players available for this two frendlies match? Terry, Schwarzer, Hilario, Bertrand, Ake, Ivan, Matic, Kalas, Van Ginkel, Salah, Ba, Marin, Oriol, more likely Torres, hopefully Cole. Lol, we could still put 11 strong first team players with their respective position if we want to. Did I miss anyone? Interesting to see mix up with young players like Piazon, Atsu, Traore, Zouma, Thorgan, Baker, Andreas, Ruben, Feruz, Bamford, Josh, Chalobah, Blackman, Wallace, Van Aanholt (if he didn't make it, but I hope he make it). Damn we've a lot of talents there. Strangely, we could put respective starting eleven from youth players too !
  15. Lol, how could people come to conclusion that Torres is a gay? No matter how ladyboy he is, he has wife and 3 children, if I could remember it well.
  16. More like Cavani saga last year that I really dislike. I could remember Cavani rumoured close to join us here and there, even Sky sources confirmed we had a deal agreed too back then, just like with Costa now. At the end of the day napoli's president confirmed we have never bid for Cavani, and then he goes to Paris. I hope this is not what happening now with Costa saga.
  17. If I could remember it right, didn't Oscar said something in his last interview that he is, looking to stay for many years just like Lampard or JT? Just wait and see how he plays in Brazil with his style, and people will forget whatever he said in the past, and crying for him to be our no. 10 next season.
  18. The last thing we need is that media starting to make out stories like Oscar unhappy at Chelsea, Oscar want to leave because of Mourinho's treatment, Torres signed new contracts, Cavani to United, and so on.
  19. The way our young player played brilliantly in one season, winning some title and cups, won the young player of the year award, and then he is going on loan, sometimes doesn't even have enough game time, sometimes unlucky with an injury and at the end of the day they will be sold, doesn't sound right to me. I think we should starting to give a chance to every young player that played brilliantly and won young player of the year like Baker in the first team at least for 6 months. Play him as a sub and as a starter in cup games. If he is struggle then in January we could loan him. No harm at all. Every young player of the year deserved that kind of opportunity in my opinion. It also can motivate other players to push their limit, so they are someday could get the same opportunity.
  20. Glad somebody clarify that misleading article.
  21. If it's true, Oscar must learn who is the boss at Chelsea, he should do everything what the boss instructed to him without complaining. If every player only wants to do what he want to do, we doesn't need manager. Well, about Parreira, I'm curious what his real intention here, did he want to destroy Oscar's career at Chelsea or something? Maybe he is Liverpool fans or what.
  22. Well, that's why I said earlier this story sounds like a joke
