  1. I seriously wonder whether we will see Thibaut one day back at Chelsea ... I have a feeling he might want to stay in Spain eventually and I couldn't say it wouldn't make any sense.
  2. If KDB hasn't been able to prove himself by january, I believe it might be in the best interest of Chelsea and Kevin if he would be loaned out again. However untill January, Kevin has the time to prove himself whether he is Chelsea worthy. If he wouldn't succeed, it wouldn't be a shame in my opinion. Every team needs different sorts of players and perhaps Kevin might not be an ideal fit for Chelsea, whereas he might be for another team. Previous season he was chosen the Youth Player of the Year at the Bundesliga. I'm pretty sure there would be quite some teams in Germany happy to take KDB in, either on loan or permanently. But for now, he has not been performing well enough for Mou and it seems more then fitting it is being made clear to Kevin. I hope over time Kevin will be handed 2nd chances to prove Mou wrong.
  3. Awesome, ref just screwed the game for us ...
  4. Expecting so much more of De Bruyne. Performance against Swindon was flat. Compared to the things he has shown previous season at Bremen, this is not even worth discussing about. Come on, KDB, don't let Mou and the pressure get to you. Do your thing! I believe in you!
  5. I'm actually really happy for Romelu, I believe Everton will be a superb chance for him. He will get a lot of playing time, has a coach who believes in him and I believe it might help him grow. He didn't get a proper chance at Chelsea and competing with 3 other strikes, of which Torres and Eto'o are in front of him in the pecking order ... Let's face it, it was the best option available to him. He played a great game for Everton, let's hope he can continue to show more of this. Even though he plays at Everton, it makes me a proud blue!
  6. Hoped KDB would get a start today, but looks he's warming the bench again. Makes me little sad.
  7. Get real ... Actually you would hope it turns out like that, then perhaps he would have fans who actually care and root for him! (Instead of you)
  8. I can hardly believe there will be a day that both Cech and Courtois will be fighting for the n°1 spot at Chelsea. Both are world-class keepers, not discussion about it. There are many top clubs willing to splash big money on keepers of this level and have a spot in the starting lineup for them. The other top clubs are just poking and waiting till the thing is going to explode. I can't believe either of them will settle with a place on the bench, that could damage their careers, while they could be in the start-up of any top club. Don't fool yourselves! The good thing is, it's a luxury problem!
  9. I'm more worried that his girlfriend is Spanish, which means her family and friends are living over there. Obviously Thibaut staying in Spain would be excellent solution for her. We all know people would go lengths for love ...
  10. I hope the starting setup will look like yours, but I have my doubts Mourinho will start Eto'o and Willian. I'd expect them more to come in as a sub in their first official Chelsea match. I wouldn't be suprised if Mata will start the game.
  11. Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, some people are just short-tempered. Just ignore them and your issues will be resolved.
  12. I believe that might be an excellent solution to ensure further development for Lukaku, to be honest.
  13. As a Chelsea fan, it is sometimes depressing how other fans behave. As soon as one of our squash players have a bad game, they are ready to hang him. Lukaku had a bad penalty kick, no doubt. Training penalties on a closed training field is a big difference then giving a penalty kick in a large crowded stadium. You don't learn how to deal with pressure on a training field. I might be Belgian and I'll gladly admit Lukaku is not ready for the n1 spot in this team. Eto'o and Torres make a better striker then Lukaku does at this moment. He is only 20 years old and still has to develop a lot. Playing at WBA is a very big difference compared to playing at a team like Chelsea. I believe Mourinho knows there is potential and that is has to be nurtured carefully. Let's be honest, we all know Lukaku should not be our first striker choice, but we all know the future can be bright for this one. Let's stand by his side and hope he will make us proud Chelsea fans one day. As for the game, I'm very proud to be a Chelsea fan. Our players are young and inexperienced, yet they hold their side against a team like Bayern, which carries a lot of experience. Even though I have the feeling we lack experience, I believe we might see amazing things. And if not, I'm confident we will see them within the next few years.
  14. Torres. Atleast we have to admit he has some awesome tricks up his sleeve
  15. KDB hasn't been playing great, but there was obvious improvement near the end. But Torres !?
  16. Totally agree. They are playing very defensively and when we are attacking, it looks like we are holding back to not take any risk.
  17. So far it is still 0-0, the game could still go any way. Let's have patience and see how it turns out.
  18. I really believe we could use Lukaku now. Seems Mourinho might disagree.
  19. Half time and it's 0-0. We are playing in the lair of man utd, so all by all, it's not a bad result so far, even though we are not playing properly. However it was to suspected that we would play like this. I suspect Mourinho hopes man utd will take more risk to attack so we can have more open countering. It has been a difficult game for our midfield.
  20. I wouldn't be suprised that this all planned game of Mourinho
  21. Squad depth is what can make or break a team. Let's be honest, it's a long season with a lot of games to play. Some players will need rest and some might even get injured. I believe Willian will be an awesome addition to the team, even though we already have an insane attacking midfield. Personally, I believe a ST or DM might have been more of a quality injection, but the transfer window only ends 2nd op Sept, so let's have patience and see what might still happen. I, for one, still expect some last-minute transfer movement to happen. Also some more trust in the board wouldn't be misplaced. Some decisions might end up as bad ones, but I'm pretty sure every decision at this level is being evaluated very well.
