  1. They have a sponsor it's "Veho" they just decided to manufacture there own shirts. Chelsea used to do this back in the 80s.
  2. Southampton have in-house manufactured there own kit for next season so no official kit maker.
  3. Probably designed by the same company.
  4. Its the Monaco website pretty much the same as the Arsenal?
  5. Chelsea will welcome Spanish side Real Sociedad to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday 12th August for the final game of pre-season. The blues have not hosted a pre-season friendly in nearly a decade, the last being a 1-1 draw against Celtic in 2006 when Jose Mourinho had his first spell at the club. Its good to see the club are keeping ticket prices fairly cheap for this game, just £15 for adults and £5 for juniors and seniors. Its a nice opportunity to see the blues in action before the Premier League season kicks off on Saturday the 16th against Burnley and check out the new signings. More ticket information can be found here. Click here to view the article
  6. After an impressive FIFA Confederations Cup campaign with Cameroon, Chelsea paid Real Madrid £6.9 million for him in July 2003, and he went on to have an excellent first season at Stamford Bridge. Although towards the end of his career at Chelsea, under José Mourinho, he was played less regularly and when he was played he was put in his unpreferred position of right-back. However, Geremi was held in high regard by Mourinho. During an interview, he said about Geremi, "in my team I love to have Geremi on the bench because he’s a low-profile player who is ready to help, ready to fight for the team, ready to do the job I want him to do. If I need him to play right-back, he can play right-back. If I need him to play right-winger, he can play right-winger. If I need him to pick up a man and mark him out of the game, he does it". In his final year at Chelsea, Geremi scored the winning goal in a home match against West Ham United, a free kick from range. This turned out to be his last goal in a Chelsea shirt. His final appearance for Chelsea came against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg, which went to penalties. Geremi came on as an extra-time substitute and went on to have his penalty saved by Pepe Reina, and Chelsea ultimately lost. During his time at Chelsea they won the Premier League in both 2004-05 and 2005-06, and Geremi was eligible for a winners' medal both seasons as he made 13 and 15 appearances respectively. After Chelsea Geremi signed for Newcastle on 6 July 2007 on a three-year deal, making him the fourth signing of the summer by Sam Allardyce. He was appointed club captain for the 200708 season by then manager Allardyce, but lost the armband after new manager Kevin Keegan awarded the captaincy to Michael Owen on 20 January 2008. 7. I'd say they target small websites like us in the hope we cant pay the fine, they then take us to court and totally fuck us up. There not going to go near a website like Tumblr because they know they don't stand a chance, its easier for them to get money from smaller sites. It even said on the letter if i don't pay the fine ill end up in court and wont win. They then gave me a link to a page of previous cases they'd won. Another thing that worries me is what's to stop this cunt joining the forum posting his own photos then sending me a letter, the laws shocking.
  8. The images posted on here had his copyright cut off.
  9. Nope the images were posted in a topic by a member a few years ago. I've been to citizens advice and had numerous people look over the letter. They've all come to the same conclusion which is pay it. The law is the law, if images are taken from other websites this can happen. At the end of the day I can't take the risk of not paying the fine, ending up in court with massive fees to pay that could ruin my life.
  10. The new Porto home shirt. They've changed to Warrior which is a shame, Nike always made them such nice kits.

  13. We've made a few changes to the layout of the forum as its the summer. A new World Cup forum has been added for you to discuss this summers tournament. Feel free to start topics for any games your nation is involved in. Also the Transfer Talk forum has been moved up because its going to be the most active chelsea related forum during the off season. One other change, the Chelsea Gold forum has been moved into the Matthew Harding Stand as its not really that active. Thanks Jim.

  16. This English squad is young. 26 years young to be precise. This is England’s second youngest squad only being beaten in youth by the squad of ’58. Is this a good thing? Probably. England’s golden generation was a miserable failure. Once world class players like Rio Ferdinand, John Terry, Ashley Cole, Paul Scholes and even Michael Owen have long since played their last matches for England. Only a few stragglers are left behind. Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard and the contentious Wayne Rooney are seemingly all that remain from the golden generation. But as the old guard dies a new England team emerges, featuring teenagers and players that no one would have even expected to be at the World Cup five years ago. This is maybe a sign that players are now being chosen on their current form and merit rather than reputations. Rickie Lambert, an easily relatable 32 year-old ex-factory worker is an example of this new feel squad. Lambert was playing in the English League One during the last World Cup. Let that sink in. Maybe I’m the only one but I get the feeling that a man like Rickie Lambert may play with a lot more passion for the white shirt than some of the other more ‘entitled’ superstars of the English game. His compatriot and team captain Adam Lallana is also another exciting player to be included. Flair, grace and silky technique is not something often attributed to the players of England but it’s applied to Lallana. The antithesis of the stereotypical English ‘hoofball’, Lallana is hopefully a sign of things to come for England. Not always rough and tumble but sometimes graceful and clever. Two teenage prodigies: Luke Shaw and Raheem Sterling give hope to the future. An explosive Left-Back and a tricky winger give new dynamism and hunger to England, something that the English team has been missing since a mercurial Wayne Rooney burst onto the scene over a decade ago. But the teenagers aren’t the only youthful hope for England. This squad boasts no more than nine players under the age of 25. Chris Smalling (24), Phil Jones (22), Jordan Henderson (23), Jack Wilshere (22), Ross Barkely (20), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (20), Daniel Sturridge (24) and Danny Welbeck (23). These players are possibly the spine of England for the next decade. While this isn’t the greatest team to ever have been assembled nor is it likely will this team run away with the World Cup. It does provide some hope for the England faithful; maybe a sign of things to come that the future is maybe a little sunnier than previously thought in the country of rain and clouds. A touch of flair, a touch of experience and a bunch of youthful exuberance make an optimistic team. Personally I haven't been this excited for an English team for a long time.
