Vitor Roque would absolutely have been the model Clearlake signing before he went to Barca and flopped massively. Thankfully I don’t think even this board isn’t silly enough to buy him now. Probably has worked out better for his development also. He got jeered by the Villa fans earlier in the season against Bologna after a tough start and Emery kept playing him through that patch to toughen him up. Looks as if its worked wonders.
