LDN Blue 7,903
It's between Eto'o & Drogba for me here.I think Drogba may get it as neither had a great World Cup. Though Eto'o did get the treble with Inter.(I don't why it posted twice, someone delete the other one please )

LDN Blue 7,903
for the same(s) reason(s) of his selection for the Ballon d'Or...World cupHmm.. The World Cup was just for 2 months though. Drogba & Eto'o performed the whole calendar year, for club & country. It'll [should] come down to them.

It'll [should] come down to them.Agreed... But for the votes, it's always the most mediatic competition who count the more (it's why Canavaro won the Ballon d'Or, for exemple)...Between Drogba and Eto'o, it will be tight, the first has had a terrific personal season plus a good season with his team, while the seconde has had an extraorinary season with Inter but not a great personal season. Ollie 4,400
Gyan will win it because he had a lot of attention in 2010. Eto'o should win it but he's won it lots of times so it's kind of someone elses turn. DD has won it before too. Gyan may not get another chance. Madmax 9,219
Probably Eto'o to win it. DD had his best season last year but he's slowed down a bit since the WC while it's the opposite for Eto'o and recent form is what people are more likely to remember when they vote. Madmax 9,219
How have Kalou and Keita made it that far? What a farce. Everybody and their uncle know it's between Drogba and Eto'o (yet again).

Madmax 9,219
I think Gyan's got a chance as well. He's never won it before, they may feel it's his time..Yeah I guess he's got a remote chance. But I'd be extremely surprised if he did. Apart from the decent WC, he didn't really set the Ligue Un on fire.Gyan in 09-10 : 13 Ligue Un goals, 3 assistsDrogba in 09-10 : 37 goals in all competitions, 11 assists, Golden Boot in EPL, English Double winnerEto'o in 09-10 : 18 goals in all competitions, 7 assists, Treble winnerEasy to see why Drog or Eto'o should get it, but hey, it's FIFA, anything can happen. I know he won the double with Inter, but he wasn't very profilic that season, nor is he this. This could be because José played him down the wing (which he hated). Drogba had his best season in his career last season. Unfortunately he played the entire World Cup injured and so couldn't make an impact. This season he's been total shit I don't know about Gyan last season, but I know he had a phenomenal World Cup and he's having a good season with Sunderland, let's be fair, he ripped us apart with Welbeck. So I really wouldn't mind if it goes to Gyan.
