BlueLion. 21,491
As far as I'm concerned, FIFA are an utter farce, and a joke of an organisation. This is just testament to how little football's governing body actually knows about the sport.
DYC. 7,542
I just believe, in my honest opinion, Puyol should be at centre-half (had an IMMENSE season, easily the best centre-back around at the moment), with Ashley Cole at LB.Don't agree with Puyol easily being the best CB around. Thiago Silva, Vidic, Kompany and Carvalho (especially Thiago) are the defenders that have really shone this season. Puyol isn't the same anymore if you ask me. Don't rate his performances any higher than the likes of Piqué, Nesta and our own JT and Ivanovic. Still a great defender though and still the defender with the biggest 'heart' out there.Btw, 150 journalists, coaches and national team captains are the ones who make out the winner of Player of the Year and pick the Team of the Year. And congratz to Lionel Messi. The best attacker around by faaaaarrrrr. Although he is quickly turning into this generation's Great '10'.

He's the key link, without him Messi does not often score. It's why he's always referred to as Bara's "unsung hero"
