Hello guys, As you might be aware, There have been deadly floods in my country (Pakistan) recently, and most of us here have been helping to the best of our abilities with NGOs etc etc. I've found a few ways for people abroad to donate through trusted organizations, thought i would share if any of you is interested in donating. You can donate as little as 10 Bucks through texts or whatever, because every Penny Counts.

For People in America,

The State Department and U.S. Embassy Islamabad announced a new mobile phone donation campaign that asks mobile phone users to text “SWAT” to 50555. Each text donates $10 to the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), whose emergency response teams are delivering supplies in Balochistan and Kyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.

You can also text and donate using MGive, They can help you donate to alot of NGOs, UN, etc - Click Here.

For People in UK, And the Rest of the World,

You can use Oxfam:

We are currently providing clean water and hot meals to over 200,000 people. In total, Oxfam aims to reach around 1 million people with clean water, sanitation kits and hygiene supplies.

Donate by clicking this link. More information here.

You can also donate as little as ONE pound through the DEC, On this page.

Thanks a bunch guys, good to know we've got nice people on here, posted this on another forum - Somehow ended into an argument between Americans and British People. unsure.gif

Once again, thanks! :)

And Steve, im fine, only had water here for one day, its the capital so the infrastructure is capable enough to avoid flooding of the area, still getting heavy rains though!
