I have my Mandarin corrected all the time and it does not bother me. I am an American and I can honestly say that "brah" is rarely used in normal conversation and never in written conversation. I find everything about your manner of posting objectionable because this is a multinational forum and many of our members are not all native English speakers and posts with a preponderance of slang can be difficult to understand and interpret. I also find you highly confrontational and ignorant of the daily interactions between the regular posters on the board. If you understood this you would know that Stingray and I regularly tease each other and my post to him was aimed at him and only him (read his response if you doubt this). Next time you chose to lecture someone, you might chose someone who actually cares what your opinion is, is less educated than you are, and that hasn't been around the board quite as long as I have. Get to know us better before you get your knickers in a twist and attack someone. And I don't care to be called names in any language thank you very much! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

How do you know that I am less educated than you are, you dont know who I am. Do you know my degree and annual income? you might think that i dont even have a job since im from the 'ghetto'. I will tell you something about me, i was born in a ghetto and ive made it out there and im doing alright in the world and no i dont think im better than you or lesser than you.

And number of post and time as a member means jack, its petty to think that you are better or have more privilege than me because you posted more and longer in a forum. Then maybe if ive been in this world longer than you shouldnt lecture me, thats how its supposed to go right?

I guess its my fault for being new in a forum and dont know how you all interact with each other right?

I didnt even attack you, was just telling you off. You quoted me and commented on something said and made a joke of it so i dont think its only between you and stingray. And i obviously did not like it.

What I think is that you are confrontational and have a chip on your shoulder. You want people to see you as being tough and from the ghetto, so that is what we see. You have not taken the time to get to know us, you have not taken the time to present a side of yourself that is remotely approachable. This is why I made the assumptions about your education and age, they are the behaviors I associate with some one who still needs to prove himself. If that is not who you are then, I would welcome an opportunity to see a different side of you because frankly the one I have seen is offensive and rude. To call someone you do not know a "white ghost" is insulting but I believe you know that and deliberately set out to piss me off because you thought I was poking fun at you.

Why do I think you are younger than me? To my knowledge there only maybe five or six members on the board older than me and most of the lads are actually young enough to be my sons. Presumptuous as it maybe, Given your swagger and bravado you are about the same age, which would be 20 something.

I stand by what I said, instead of storming down the place get to know the members first.

Look, mate, I've seen what you two wrote and I honestly think it is just a misunderstanding. @BluesChick, is literally the nicest person in the world and I'm sure she did not mean to offend you when she quoted your post as I am sure you did not mean to offend her with your reply. The pub here is just a place to have a laugh and nothing here is worth getting upset about. So how about you two just scratch what just happened and make a fresh start? :)

Okay, understood. As i said that ghetto talk was just a joke to see what reaction people have of someone who talks in that manner.

@Manilla Brawler, thank you for the apology, those outside of China/Hong Kong do not know how insulting that term truly is to an expat living here and trying not to offend.

I am sorry I offended you, truly I was just teasing Tom (stingray) because he really does take a joke very well and is usually the one to start them!

I look forward to getting to know the "real" you.
