We Hate Scouse 10,326
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-10762917Tottenham Hotspur is interested in making a bid to takeover the Olympic Stadium in east London after the 2012 Games, BBC London has learned. If I was a Tottenham fan I would not be happy with this at all. There history is in the north, there rivals are in the north. Everything that Tottenham is (Mainly a shite) is in the north. They will also be very very close to West Ham and in an area predominantly full of West Ham fans. If Chelsea done something like this I'd go mad!! LDN Blue 7,903
Haha I saw that, thought it was a bit odd they'd even contemplate moving out of White Hart Lane, especially for the east of London.
Kez 2,727
It would be wrong to move the club to the east of the city just for the sake of a stadium, why not just build a new one.
Blue_Swede 4
I thought they were buliding a new stadium next to WHL: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/2701448/Tottenhams-new-stadium-in-pictures.html"The inclusion of a new single tier stand combined with a fantastic stadium design demonstrates our absolute commitment to create the most atmospheric stadium for our supporters. "Every fan will have an exceptional view of the action and will find themselves closer to the pitch than at any other comparable stadium." Even though it's tottenham I have to say that's the way to go. If we ever move away from Stamford Bridge the Chelsea supporters must demand actions like this. We Hate Scouse 10,326
In the article posted about it says:The club is currently working on a planning application for a new 56,000-seat stadium adjacent to their current White Hart Lane ground in north London, but has faced opposition from local police and national heritage groups about their plans.
