Blackburn will be without Paul Robinson after the goalkeeper tore a calf muscle against his former club Tottenham. Jason Brown will deputise, but Ryan Nelsen, Gael Givet, Lars Jacobsen, Vince Grella and Franco Di Santo are all unavailable.

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has no fresh injury concerns. Goalkeepers Petr Cech and Hilario are back in training and could return from respective calf and groin problems to replace Ross Turnbull.

Blackburn - Injured/unavailable: Di Santo (ineligible under loan rules), Grella & Robinson (both calf), Givet & Jacobsen (both groin), Nelsen (knee)

Chelsea - Doubtful: Cech (calf), Hilario (groin)

Injured: Bosingwa (knee), A Cole (ankle), Essien (knee)

I would keep Turnbull for the moment, I don't want Cech to get a another injury just because we insisted on playing him.

Good news..but so far (touch wood anyway) Turnbull hasnt done to bad,agree with sticking with him rather then Cech at the mo seeing as he's only just come back from injury not rush him back etc etc

From the press conference yesterday Alex, sounds like hes 50/50. Trained yesterday and was set to train today, and then they'd take a look at him. If he doesnt play tomorrow, he should play Wednesday at Portsmouth.

I'd expect Ross to carry on tomorrow though.

Play Ross tomorrow. That give's Petr a few more days training. Then he can have the Portsmouth and Villa game to get him in the grove before we play United. happy days! lol!
