ANCELOTTI: BELLETTI COULD SOLVE PROBLEM

Posted on: Tue 23 Feb 2010 Carlo Ancelotti is tipping Juliano Belletti to cover at left-back in what he believes will be a very even game against Inter at the San Siro.

The Brazilian utility player has been out for a month with a knee injury, and has never before played down the left for Chelsea, but his manager has confidence that he can compensate for the absence of Yury Zhirkov and Ashley Cole on Wednesday night.

'Definitely it's a problem, we are missing two important players,' Ancelotti conceded. 'Belletti is back, he has been training all week and has been training well. We will definitely find a solution however Ashley Cole and Zhirkov are going to be missed.'

Paulo Ferreira will also be missing as he is not registered for Champions League competition, meaning the left-back berth is likely to be between Belletti and Florent Malouda, who can also play a deeper role.

Let's hope for christ's sake that Belletti is going to slot in at left-back, not Malouda!!!

Whos going to be on the right for Inter? Maicon and?

I'd rather have Ivanovic there, not many players beat him if any.

They'll play a fairly narrow diamond, I guess. Along the lines of Cambiasso; Zanetti, Muntari; Sneijder. Only real winger as such they have is Quaresma. So defensively, we should be okay in the full back positions.

And, Nani skinned Ivanovic all day (well, first half) long at the Community Shield, so I wouldn't say that Jim.
