When players like Kakuta and Borini become more established they will definately be given a more marketable number than 44 or 45 which i think Borini has. I believe that your shirt number is very much a part of modern day football. Its what you will be remembered by when you leave. Like Tyler said. Zola will forever be remembered as number 25 in the same way Terry will be remembered as number 26 and Lampard 8. Anyway, my answer to the actual question, lol! My choices would be4. Gerrard (A bit controversial but he may leave Liverpool if they dont qualify for the champions league and he has nearly joined before)7. Ribery9.
