Ray. 217
can someone tell me how safe is it booking tickets on line? I mean specifically about putting credit card details online. I'm always a bit nervous about putting them online, in case they get passed on to a third party. I've never bought anything on line either. In the future, I really don't want to miss out on the big/popular games like I have with Stoke and I know the only way to get round that is to book online. I just need a little convincing that it's safe.
Steve 10,227
Nothing can really go wrong with booking tickets online, i think someone said on here not long ago 95 percent of tickets are sold online. You can trust it because if it wasnt secure and people could steal your information Chelsea would be sued for alot of money.
Ray. 217
Cheers, I guess I've just got to take the plunge and log on early. My other option was to go to the booking office at the club on the way to work as I go on the District Line every day from Wimbledon. Mart 29
There are two possible risks:You have a piece of malware on your computer that is looking to find you typing in your credit card details and then passes it onto somebodyThe website stores the details and then gets hackedIf its an https connection then you can be pretty sure it wont get intercepted on route. But really the risk of Chelsea getting hacked is pretty low, they'll be paying some pretty clever people to stop that happening. The chances of you having an infected computer however... well that's down to you. Most people use the internet to buy things regularly and never once have a problem with credit card theft however (and your card probably has a protection scheme for this anyway)

Ray. 217
I did have a problem when i noticed that there were extra Stoke tickets on sale. Unfortunately the box office was closed and so I completly missed out. When I contacted the box office the next day they said that my password needed to be reset back to my date of birth. I think I tried to reset the password about 3 times and the bloody system still wouldn't let me in. All should be fine now, sorry Stevo I know it doesn't help you. Ray. 217
I got a ticket this morning and I will be in row V I gather in Matthew Harding Lower. Regarding the Loyalty Points, I don't think I have enough for the Liverpool game which the booking starts on Monday for. I've been to 3 matches so far (Hull, Fulham and Burnley) which will be 9 points in total I think. Would the 5 that I get for the Porto game apply now or do they only count when the match has happened?

Ray. 217
Just discovered that I've got 17 loyalty points so far, so I think I'm OK to get a ticket for the Liverpool Game.
Kez 2,727
Good stuff you'll be able to get a ticket
Ray. 217
Well I got my ticket to the Liverpool game and really pleased. Debating about whether to get a ticket to Wigan. It wouldn't be overnight stop would it? I think it's only 2 hours from London and have been told that I have to book the coach travel via Thomas Cook. Mart 29
Unfortunately I have only just come into enough money to start getting tickets, so I can't get a Liverpool ticket as of yet (not enough loyalty points ). Only on 8 Will try and get one if they're still available as the loyalty requirements go down.As for getting to Wigan, look in my thread
