<h2 class="padding-bottom-7" style="font-size: 1.05em; line-height: 1.05em;"> NICOLAS ANELKA is ready to finish his career with Chelsea after finally finding a club to match his own ambitions. </h2> The nomadic Frenchman has spent all his playing days drifting from club to club in a series of high-profile moves.

But now he is prepared to put down his roots at Stamford Bridge and wants a new long-term deal.

Anelka, 30, said: "Chelsea give me everything I want. I don't feel that I have to move any more.

"I hope I will be here for many more seasons.

"They're one of the biggest clubs in the world and it gives me real satisfaction to be a part of this club.

"I will be pleased to sign for more years. My agents are talking to the club and we will see what happens."

It was Avram Grant who signed Anelka from Bolton in a £15million deal 18 months ago.

Anelka has accrued almost £70m in transfer fees on his travels between PSG, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Fenerbahce and Bolton. He also had a loan spell at Liverpool

Having won the Champions League with Madrid back in 2000, Anelka reveals that the ambition for everyone at Chelsea is to finally conquer Europe.

He added: "For me and all the boys, the Champions League is the one we want.

"It's very important for the players, the fans and for the owner.

"Carlo Ancelotti has won it with Milan and knows all about Europe. I think he will help us to do the extra to win."

Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka is said to be angryand frustrated after discovering he will not be getting a new contractthis season.

Starsport understands the Blues cancelled twomeetings with last season’s Premier League top scorer – the second onearound 15 minutes before it was due to take place.

Sincethen, Anelka’s representatives have been told the club have a policy ofnot offering players over 30 a new deal until they are in the finalyear of their contracts.

Anelka, who joined from Bolton for £15m in January of last year, has the remainder of this season and next left on

his deal. The apparent U-turn has upset Anelka, 30last March, who picked up the Golden Boot as the League’s top-scorerwith 19 goals last seasonP.

And his treatmenthas left him particularly disappointed because he shunned theopportunity of having operations on his hip and groin this summer inorder to impress new manager Carlo Ancelotti.

He is continuing to play while not 100 per cent fit, but is understood to feel his commitment has not been rewarded.

Itis thought Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon called off the secondmeeting, then informed Anelka’s advisers of the club’s stance oncontracts for over-30s.

Anelka’s mood has notbeen improved by Chelsea’s decision to award skipper John Terry a new£160,000-a-week contract, which runs until the summer of 2014 when hewill be 34.

Terry is blue through an through and is 29 this year. I agree that the whole thing with the club only doing the contracts when the player is under 30 is kind of a stupid role, because this could get other teams notice andtry to 'steal' them away from us. I think it's better if Anelka has the operations sooner then later, because if he plays to much it can jeoprodise him having a long term injury rather then a 6 week rehabilation.
