Turned off after we lost our 4th wicket, i suppose India needed to regain some pride after their equally shocking tour here but there should be no excuse for our shambolic batting. KP, 3 50's in 2 years, 0 100's in 3 years and always plays.... wish he'd fuck off tbh.

Atleast India is doing alright, ey?

Indeed :)

I wish we'd had a more competitive series this summer to be honest. A demolishing of both sides is fun, but it would've better had it been tighter. Ah well..

the tight match was the world cup match, then it's been one sided tours. Maybe we're over confident and think we can be great everywhere but our one day team has never really been quite right nor had the right balance, we've never known our best team or best order. We're still quite a long way short in the 50 over game

No tests in this series, just 2 T20 games to come.......Patel bowling last over instead of Bresnan, nice one Alaistair....

Just 1 T20.

Cook strikes me as too timid to be captain, in all honesty. Doesn't have that willingness to take risky but potentially rewarding decisions. Maybe because it's early in his tenure, we'll wait and see. Fine player nevertheless, I was at the ground on his Test debut here (he got a century) and I've been a fan ever since.

The fact is this England one day squad was not good enough and the selectors completely messed up.

Kieswetter is not good enough with bat or gloves - Davies should have been taken if they wanted a keeper/opener, Prior could have batted at 6 or 7 and was bang in form.

We never took 10 wickets in any game and that is the only way you are going to beat India in India, they will always outscore any team if they bat 50 overs.

Patel, Bopara and Dernbach never looked threatening with the ball and for all Patel's heart, he is still totally unfit and leaks as many runs with the ball as he makes with the bat. Not sure why they persist with Bopara and Dernbach needs to learn that 5 slower bowls per over down the leg side makes him a leg spinner who can't turn it!!!!!

Feel sorry for Finn who is the only threatening bowler, Bres can take wickets but only as a support.....

Bell should have played from the start, best player of spin we have(although he failed today) and the criticism of Trott is unjust...

5-0 is par for the course, check the 2 previous English tours here for proof.

Now we have a meaningless Test series against Windies. Don't know what's that about - maybe an opportunity for the likes of Tendulkar to notch up meaningless milestones.

Can't wait for the Aussie tour. Should be evenly matched in their conditions, even though our batsmen will do better there than in England. It isn't bounce we can't bat against, it's seam and swing. And there's not much of that in Oz.
