Tendulkar was very good today, just out very unfortunately. You might as well let him bow out in England properly. Dropping someone like that is harsh when he hasn't really done much wrong. He was on for 100 today but was cruelly ran out.

It's not just today though. He's been poor all series. Sure you could say that about the whole team barring Dravid to an extent and Dhoni this game, but it's obvious all the century talk is playing on his mind. He's playing tentatively and it's just bad to watch.

It won't happen though, because Tendulkar can do no wrong

Do you know how it feels to win the World Cup?

Well done to Strauss and the team, well deserved. Not sure they will last long at the top as they arent playing much test cricket after this.

So, Enjoy it while it lasts wink.png

I will, first time in 35 years and obviously in my lifetime.

I'll enjoy thrashing the previous #1 team 4-0 in a test series just as much though.

Alright lads, get ready for a pasting. English tours are always great stuff to look forward to. Tendulkar's gearing up for a 100th 100 at international level, really hope he gets it at Lord's in the first test, he's never got one there. I see we got comprehensively outplayed in the Somerset tour game, but that was on the cards, we're slow starters anyway. Any of you going to the games?

No, we're just better.

Was it you who was laughing at Bumble for predicting a 4-0 whitewash as well, Jaimin? :D

We will prove, why we're ODI champions soon :)

Well played, again, to England in this test series. A whitewash is what we deserved.. I was happy to read Gary Kirsten (the best coach in modern cricket right now)'s comments,

"They are a great cricket team, with a great captain and one of the best batting line-ups in the world which is why they were No. 1, but we always knew that we were bit short on the bowling side and that was something that we learnt to manage.

People said that with such an experienced team we should try to integrate youth but I felt that for as long as those experienced guys were there and they were enjoying it and playing good cricket, they should carry on. Even if it means that there is only one spot to bring in a youngster, that's fine. We were able to, at number six, so we covered both angles."

Suresh Raina has been the man who has been allowed to fill and mature in that role and has also been earmarked as one for the future, by being the stand-in ODI captain.
