He wasn't exceptional when he played last season but you can't expect him to be after not playing too much and getting no real stay in the line up. We're a club that plays with wingers and he's probably the only natural one we have and we don't use him.... makes no sense to me. He said he wasn't injured, he wasn't injured, Carlo just didn't trust him. He'll probably move on but i hope he has one final crack at it because he has the ability. Zhirkov deserves a chance by new manager. And it is back / wing. Many multi-dimensional player who can be helpful at any time.
