Robben and duff were very effective comming off the right flank, but neither of them really had a right foot, so i am sure if we wanted them too Malouda and Zhirkov could do the same. What side they are on shouldn't make that much of a difference... Look at Barcelona. Henry plays on the left, Messi on the right. The whole idea is for them to be able to cut in and take a shot on their strong foot. I'd like to see Zhirkov playing on the right, cutting in and testing the keeper. Ancellotti can be a bit adventurous..wouldnt be surprised to see Cole playing behind two strikers, a role at which he can be very effective..... Indeed, something he would be very keen to do as well, and something we seem to have been waiting a long time to see happen! Will Ancelotti be the man to give Joe a go in that role?
