I'm happy about that mainly because i want to see him have another champions league shot. I think hes been ok this season anyway, hes been steady and he gives the physical element in midfield which helps against many different playing styles from overpowering the likes of arsenal to giving as good as you get against physical teams like Stoke. Hes been nothing exceptional but hes done an important job in a lot of games which ppl seem to miss. He's a presence and tbh i think he'll be the main defensive player which will let Essien and Lampard go forward.

Fucking spot on. Been consistent since Hiddink's come in, and he has got the ability to make that killer pass for a goal.

I read in between that Ballack was ready to take a wage cut to stay at Chelsea. May be he got one along with a yr extension.

potentially winning the champions league is alot more important than a few extra million, money is temporary winning the champions league at Chelsea would seal his name in our history forever.

Im very happy to see him get another chance at the club, i personally think he has had a very good season. He has been very consistent in that defensive midfield spot since Guss has come to Chelsea. I think ballack could also be someone we could look at being in a coaching role later he is still very good at what he does and i think he could teach alot of our younger players.
