Joe Cool 388
Danish referee Claus Bo Larsen insists he was right to show Chelsea's John Terry a yellow card on Wednesday night. The booking, picked up during the Blues' 3-1 victory over Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League, will rule the centre-half out of the second leg of the quarter-final tie. The England skipper has questioned the decision, believing he had every right to challenge for the ball in a tangle with Reds keeper Jose Reina. However, having lunged in slightly on the Spanish shot-stopper, Larsen believes he was left with no option but to caution Terry. "Of course he is a little bit bitter, since he will miss the return game, but he could have avoided running into the keeper on purpose," the match official told Bold.dk. "This was purely calculated and I have no doubts this was the right decision." I felt it was the right decision but I don't think it will be bad for us because Carvalho is gonna be back. Elliott 7
He didn't run into the keeper on purpose, he was challenging for the ball. It was a foul, no more.

Ollie 4,400
Well tbh it shouldnt matter now. Turned out a good time to get it out of the way. Yellow card was madness, he went for the ball but it just went through to reina too quick. Just a miss timed jump. Anyway, shouldnt matter
BlueLion. 21,491
Pathetic reasoning. Was clearly challening to win the ball. Love the way he gets a yellow for trying to win the ball whilst Henry deliberately stamps on a keeper's face and gets away with it.
Kez 2,727
Best timing for him to get a yellow card now, he'll be fine for semi's.
bombayblue™ 55
Worried about ashley cole to be honest.. he is one card away and will in all likelyhood will face Messi.. so a yellow in any next 3 of his games and he could miss a crucial tie provided we progress
