the wes 7,212
GUUS HIDDINK has been asked to stay on at Chelsea. </h2> But it would be as director of football — NOT in his current role as manager. Hiddink said: "There had to be a contract or my work in Chelsea would be impossible from a legal point of view. "Yes, there is such a contract. It expires on May 31. They offered me to continue working for them after that date as a consultant." Hiddink is currently back in Russia doing his other job — running their national team. If he took up Chelsea's new offer the Dutchman would have an input on transfers and scouting. He added: "I'll need to have a look at how the situation is going to develop. "May be I can be useful for Chelsea in that role."NOT A BAD IDEA http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...p;ATTR=Football Edited March 27, 2009 by the wes

5354 204
That would just means there will be lots of Russians who are going come to Chelsea. Why not just stay the scouting job with Scouts instead?>
Cameron 30
What would a 'consultant' do?
Alee. 182
Dont want him as a Consultant, Want him DESPERATELY as a manager though, A big name in the backroom staff is never a good idea, puts more pressure on the new manager, there isnt enough already.
