EskWeston 696
Portuguese winger Fabio Ferreira has joined Oldham Athletic on a one-month loan deal. The 19-year-old winger is in his fourth year at Chelsea since arriving in the summer of 2005, and will be hoping to impress while at Boundary Park. A string of injuries have limited Fabio's reserve team appearances this season, with just two starts and three sub appearances. We Hate Scouse 10,348
Can't see him breaking into the first team any time soon. Waste of wages....even if it isn't that much.
Elliott 7
Hasn't had the impact needed to impress enough to enter the first team, I agree. Hopefully he impresses at Oldham and they or someone else takes him on. As long as the player this club has trained get first team football at a professional club somewhere I think that's alright. Yup, most players who come through our academy will not play for Chelsea. The idea is to keep them in pro football at the highest level possible. Ferreira will certainly be one player on the way out this summer as he has been very dissapointing and not even cracked the reserve level. Hopefully he will do well here and they will want to take him on.
