DRIVERS queuing to leave a car park were amazed to see the barrier manually lifted — by England football captain John Terry.

The Chelsea defender, 28, was filmed on CCTV helping other motorists by stepping in after the ticket exit machine failed.

He did not cause any damage and was not given a penalty ticket for breaking the rules.

Frustrated Terry is seen to approach a Mercedes S-class stuck at the head of the exit queue. A bald man at the wheel of the Merc speaks into an intercom.
