Lets hope they make a move for Mikel Arteta instead, but,TBH, where else would ZZ go? The only only other clubs big enough he would manage would be Barca (NEVER (at least not for a decade), plus it is La Liga redux) Juve, AC Milan, Shitty (obviously ZERO chance as Pep is above even ZZ in coaching hierarchy) PSG, the French National Team, or Bayern,and all but AC Milan are set completely at manager (for now). In the right situation he MIGHT consider Chelsea, but a LOT of dominos would have to fall for that to ever happen (like Sarri, wins a couple EPL titles in a row, plus another, and say, 2, 3 CL's over a 6, 7 year period, but then hits a long rough patch, so ZZ would be walking into a top 2, 3, 4 club in world at that point)

I WAS thinking Conte may have even got considered for them. They could do worse.

I really think Conte wants AC Milan or the Italian National Team (sometime down the road again). Gut feel. I would if I was him as long as the owners would back him 100% in terms of players recruited.

And we have to remember mate ZZ hasnt got that much managing experience. RM B team and 19 months in A team

Hes not walked into a club in a real mess and have to re build it. Unlike Conte with us.

If they made those moves above (minus the Mbappe fantasy) and ZZ is the manager, not too much repairing left to do. They certainly have the funds, especially if they sold Pogba (not sure ZZ stance on Pogba.) They also need to dump Alexis and his insane contract somehow, unless ZZ can resurrect his career. They, like us, have a shit tonne of deadweight to sell, depending on what ZZ determines to be surplus goods.
