There is a rather sizeable obstacle for Arrizabalaga to hurdle, however. De Gea is arguably the best goalkeeper in the world, and he’s only 27.

De Gea has mostly been far from the top keeper globally the last 4 or 5 months, the WC was a good example, but he really seems off IMHO. 

I would (I am sure some here will call this bollocks) take  Oblak, Ederson, Kepa, Courtois, ter Stegen, or Alisson over him atm.
