Milan 17,964
After spending two years on separate loan deals, Chelsea defender Alcides, will once again be spending a year away from Stamford Bridge, as he will be plying his trade in Ukraine. Chelsea's 23-year old Brazilian rear-guard, Alcides first arrived in Europe in 2003, from Brazilian side Vitoria, playing a handful of games for Schalke, before eventually joining the West London club. The Stamford Bridge side, however, seem keen on shipping Alcides out on loan. Perhaps they view the Sao-Paulo born defender as having a better chance of first team football at clubs such as Benfica, then PSV, and now Ukranian side; Dnjepr Dnjepropetrovsk. He is expected to return to London at the end of the year. Goal.com
misschief 24
Bloody ridiculous. We're paying this bloke around the same amount a week we're offering Robinho?
Elliott 7
I suspect that is bullshit misschief, that can't be true... And what an obscure team! He's obviously not good enough and no-one will buy him off of us as a result.
BlueLion. 21,491
Dnjepr Dnjepropetrovsk? They used to be a good side in the 80s, I think, reached the later stages of the UCL once or twice I think. They're in the UEFA Cup this season as well, so it will be European football at the least.
