but, then i dont understand why not swap ramires lampard deskjob ?

if the role ramires actually does under mourinho, require good passing, vision, understand teammates movement and intelligent

isnt it actually lampard have better on that aspect ?

and the player from midfield to running is supposed to be ramires because that his prime atrribute isnt it :halo:

The holding position , that Ramires plays, requires someone who can (a) pass, (B) be quick on his feet, © very very intelligent when pressurized and (d) able to visualize the pitch from how it is seen on in TV. Lampard is good. He can pass, has vision. But it's slowly dying. He has to be quick in making decisions and understanding. He's slowly loosing it. It's a team in transition. So who would you prefer in a very important role for the foreseeable future if you were Jose? You wouldn't want someone who is going to be given a bit part role to play in a role that needs to be learned properly for future success.

Jose wants Ramires to learn that duty. In a few games, Jose might stick Mikel or Essien in and we can see a whole new Chelsea.

Ramires is a terrific runner, no doubt. But now its no more about running. How many times have we seen the Brazilian just run at defenses and hope he doesn't have the air knocked out of him? It's movement. Clever movement. Lampard may not be able to understand other's movement, but he's perfectly managed his for years. That's the reason he always arrives late into the box and slams the ball in goal. Some habits never die. Chelsea pass around in the final third, wait for a hole to open up, make clever movement, and BOOM. We score. Oscar's goal and Hazard's. have so much similarity. all came down to one clever incisive pass, after series of exchanges.
