Doesn't make a difference - players peak at different ages. Look at Drogba - no-one considered him world class till last season when we was 29. Very much the same as Makelele, he peaked at 31.

i know luca brought granville from cambridge but he was still a good young english player. think he's still at palace. John Harley's at Burnley went everywhere after us. Sheffield United, Fulham etc. He played well for Burnley vs Arsenal in the FA Cup this season. I remember he got a winner for us against dirty leeds at Ellant Road. Great win that was.

That isn't true about Maka he was playing in top class form in Real he is great in last 8 years.....

And there is another player who came in front of the others in older age Luca Toni.

I don't think that we have such a great talents like Bojan, Messi, Giovanni form barca or like Rooney was in Everton but over talanted players can still improve in couple of years and make a good cariere in the club.

Joe Keenan, I thought he looked really good when he was younger but he broke his leg in 2002 while playing against Arsenal reserves and left. He now plays for australian club, Melbourne Victory FC.
