I thought the Vieira vs Lopes was about the best fight but most the night was pretty lacklustre a bit like us today (Oh how happy I am I went! Even getting wrecked hasn't helped the mood) I stayed up to watch the luvly Rowdy and she finished it in 34secs. She coulda took her time with her to get viewers moneys worth lol But I think she got personal after the digs she took pre fight.

Shields had his moments, but never could finish Palhares. TBF there was the raking of Shields eyes to distract him from finishing. This is the point of contention everyone is all upset about

Naw, Palhares knew what he was doing. First he elbowed Shields on the eyelid & split it open. Then as the blood is trickling down Shield's face, Palhares rubs some of it into Shields eye. He did this when Shields had top position. Check it out for yourself:

Eventually the refs warned Palhares, but Shields lost his mental focus & ended up losing the fight.

I dont like all the rules there are in fighting. We all understand the risks we take doing any form of MA. But then again just where do we draw the line?

I think maybe just no kicking between legs, no kicking in head whilst down, no fingers in eyes should be enough. Headbuts would be great!

In the Old UFC, one could hit/kick in the nads. Not now. Also Headbutting was legal too, but not now. However I liked it in Pride FC when fighters would use Soccer Kicks on downed opponents. I thought it was fair

Not too long till UFC191. Couple good fights there should be.

But Im also looking forward to UFC192. 2 guys on there I really just dont like, Cormier and Evans. And with a bit of luck they will both get slapped.
