changingman2000 35
He's spunked away two perfectly winnable cups in a week. Do the honourable thing and top yourself you sour faced bastard. So, anyway, All in all your quite pragmatic about the whole affair then mate eh
DavidEU 2,023
Can we try and keep all things Avram Grant here guys. Cheers!
EskWeston 696
I would be suprised if he gets the boot before the end of the season now! But there is no doubt that he should be gone now in the summer no matter what happens now! 2 cups gone which should have been ours at a stroll!!! Even though the Prem is opening up i can't see us winning and once we draw one of the big boys in the CL we can kiss that goodbye as well!!! Fulham Broadway 17,363
2008, the year we, Chelsea FC, had a hand on two cups just to spunk them away because of some greedy no nothing charlatan, tactically clueless, grasping his £4.5 million a year of our admission, pretending to be a manager. EskWeston 696
It really is crazy, we have 2 fantastic performances in the middle of 2 dismal ones where we squander 2 cups that should have been ours for the taking..... For me there is no way out of this, there is no way we are going to win the CL with Grant in charge, it just won't happen! And we are not going to be consistant enough to win the Prem either.. I just can't wait till the summer now! There needs to be some MAJOR reconstruction work going on..

EskWeston 696
Michael Laudrup mentioned for the job yesterday. Thoughts on that? Can't say i have any knowledge of him as a manager so i have no idea how i would feel about that! But at the moment, anyone else is sounding pretty good. But what we need is someone who we KNOW is going to bring us what we need.

But at the moment, anyone else is sounding pretty good. But what we need is someone who we KNOW is going to bring us what we need. What is lacking above all is someone who can build a rapport and respect from the squad. Clarke has no charsima no mutual meeting of the mind with players, but knows his football. Ten Cates has to fuck off for a fag every now and then and is a moody cunt at best-again knows his football though. Grant, just a 'B' movie blob monster. Wenger, Ferguson, Mourinho all know how to get the best from their players. We have no one atm, but have a talented squad of loose cannons. Best thing that could happen right now would be to make Terry player manager for the rest of the season. Clarke can sort out the substitutions. EskWeston 696
A full overhaul is needed in the summer! We need to completely change the set up and bring someone in who can shake things up, and also make big choices because there are going to need to be some big name casualties in the summer. Fulham Broadway 17,363
This should include Abramovich being told by someone who's not afraid to jeorpordise their multi million pound salary that he should not interfere with the football side. To not take Essien aside and tell him how to tackle , for instance, to not appoint a fellow Jew just because he put the cones out for another Russian Jewish oligarch. Will take someone with big bollocks.

Roman needs to get a grip of things, we have no idea how much his advisers/hangers on influence him or he does make all his own decsisions... The best case scenario i can think of is that Grant was put in this season to tide things over while we appoint a proper world class manager - because if Roman actually believed Grant could take us forward then he must be high or something... Abramovich saw him as a conduit so he could indirectly affect things on the pitch with his real life Subbuteo. Which is why the Essien thing seemd credible. Its not just Abramovich -all those multi millionaire hangers on, Kenyon and Buck should be accountable -or did they get it right ?? Grant ''taking us to the next level'' with ''exciting attractive football'' wasnt it ?

You could see from when Grant was unveiled they were not comfortable, they couldn't exactly come out and say "This is stupid" and also they are not football men, they are business men. Abramovich has made this scenario and he now has to fix it.

Kenyon and Buck are the links between the manager and owner, they fraudulently marketed the fat clown. Should be held accountable in the Hague for crimes against humanity. Lol I would find it very hard to believe that Roman is happy to carry on with Grant. It really wouldn't suprise me if the plan was always for Grant to only stay for this season while we wait for whatever manager was our real target! Eternal optimism I think Grants appointment has an Israeli/Russian twist that we know little about. Its all about trying to lift Israels profile high in the ouside world, and Chelsea are the parasite host, and Abramovich is/was under pressure from Israeli government sources. Just a thought Bottom line. Cunts a waste of space.
EskWeston 696
Absolutely, the bottom line is that Grant needs to go. I would doubt that we will ever find out or truly know everything about what has gone on and the reasons for it but i am sure that he will be gone by the summer. Fulham Broadway 17,363
Ahh, next Summer. Grant takes the squad on the latest Disney/Kentucky Fried Chicken 'Hands Accross the Ocean' tour to Florida to play three games in the 'Toy Story Velodrome' against Tampa Bay Pizza Boys, Everglade Diet Coke Rangers, and Miami Burger Queens. All in the interest of 'Grass Roots Football' Cant wait.

And if Grant is in charge of the squad still at that point then things will not be looking good..
Ollie 4,400
if hes still in charge next season, we shouldnt hesitate in accepting the intertoto cup invitation. I can't wait til the season is over if i'm honest, whether we win 0,1 or 2 trophies, i just can't wait to start again because this season has been a disaster in more ways than one.
