Mexican U-17 sensation and FC Dallas goalkeeper Richard Sánchez is training with Chelsea's first team, Goal.com has learned.

Sanchez's agent, Marc Salicru, says that the 16-year-old will be in the UK for the remainder of the week and that the London club will continue scouting him for the coming months. According to the representative, Chelsea is aiming for a permanent transfer this summer.

"As of now, they see Richard as a goalkeeper with a great future and an interesting profile," Salcru said. "They'll take a long look at him. A few months."

Sanchez signed as a Home Grown player with FC Dallas in February 2011.

A native of Mission Hills, Calif., Sanchez moved to Texas with his family and initially played for Texas Football Club before joining Spain’s Atletico Madrid U-16 squad. He returned to Texas and began playing for the FC Dallas Development Academy in 2009.

“I think he is by far the best goalkeeper I have ever seen at this age level, and he’s shown that during his time as a goalkeeper for Mexico’s Under-17 national team," FC Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman said in a press release in February.

Sanchez led the Mexican U-17 team to a World Cup title last summer on home soil.

Why go for him if we have Courtuois(Spelling)?
