Would be interested in the FM one but have never played online before either! How does it work? Is it similar to the Xpert11 where a league is set up for you and you just play each other?

I'll host if anyone wants to play. Just make sure you've got version 12.0.2 of the game. (To find out which version you have, check out "game status" option from the "FM" drop-down menu on the main in-game toolbar.)

In hindsight I think I made a mistake in choosing Newcastle. They're pretty shit when you first start out. Squad is thin as hell and there's hardly any money available. Plus, Ben Arfa (their best player in FM) is out for about 6 months and Ba is a crappy goalscorer.

Anyways, I'm not sure how often I can actually play online because it lags a lot. Probably due to my slow laptop. Every page takes about 5 seconds to load
