Was awesome against Inter the other night, and is keeping Alonso out the team, so cant be too bad. He's as important in my opinion to Liverpool as Torres and Gerrard. I respect your opinion, however I think that he is an average player and nothing spectacular, still I guess that is what you come to expect from a defensive midfielder.
