Any proof of FA's competence can be gauged from the fact that they spent 20million £ on a WC bid which managed to garner ... hold your breath ... a grand total of 2 votes.

I can't fathom what official explanation do they seek with regards to AVB's Foy comments? He basically said what everyone who saw that game already understood - that Foy's a biased bastard. What scope does that leave for further explanation?

Utd's CEO - David Gill is a member on the FA board. Did I hear you say 'conflict of interest'? No? Shame.

FA STATEMENT

The Football Association has released the following statement relating to the charges against us following last weekend's match at Queens Park Rangers.

Chelsea FC has been fined £20,000 after admitting to a charge of failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.

The incident took place in the Premier League fixture between QPR and Chelsea at Loftus Road on Sunday 23 October.
