Park though! I think you've bought too much into the hype spread by Utd fans/media that he is some must-have, quality footballer.

I mentioned I've followed him since his PSV days.

He looked good against us last year because we were so sh*t! Barcelona ran rings around him in the final. Where was all that hard-worker stuff when facing quality? He was made to look the painfully avergae player that he is by a good team, probably the only good team they faced last year because no Premier League team was worth sh*t including us.

If you're going to use Barcelona as an example, every player on every team they come up against should be considered 'painfully average' because that's what this Barcelona team makes them look like. Real Madrid is an average team of average players because they get beaten 5-0 by Barcelona.

I don't see the point in arguing with you though, you'd probably make some amusing comment about it because I didn't mention Rooney or whoever.

Wayne Rooney without a doubt. He makes Man Utd thick and would vastly improve our team. sometimes I feel he's more of a playmaker/attacking midfielder than a striker.

Honorable mention: Kompany, Silva and Van persie (if he can manage to stay injury free that is)

100% agree with you mate, He's a striker, playmaker and an attacking midfielder all in one. I have the feeling that if he was playing for Barcelona or Real Madrid he will be up there with Messi and Ronaldo, he will sure score as many goals as them. I thought that today he was MOTM, he was brilliant.

Sure you have.

The comment is specifically relating to Park and his performance iin what was Utd's toughest and most important game of the season. Isn't he supposed to be hard-worker essential in games like that? Why was he one of the worst, if not the worst, player in that final when that is supposed to be the type of game he excels in? He is a worker but he has very little quality. There are literally hundreds of players who could offer the same as Park but also give you more going the other way.

Nevermind. Park is pathetic, and anyone who thinks otherwise about him is just being different for the sake of being different.

Can't you see your choice was so unusual as to invite ridicule .. I doubt if anyone would choose him as a first choice draft pitch .

Good choice - possibly the outstanding centre-half in Europe atm, alongwith Thiago Silva.

Excellent defensive pair there but I would prefer Dortmund's Mats Hummels, who I feel is the most underrated footballer currently, to Thiago silva. They should have his picture next to the word unbreakable in the dictionary.

Yes he is quality but not in Silva's league, no chance. Bayern's academy is ridiculously good. BVB will do great if they can keep him and Subotic at the club for a long time.

Hummels is excellent but come on lionsden, Thiago is far better. The last defender who impressed me as much as Thiago is Nesta, he makes defending a joy to watch.

Riccy?

Excellent shout but I honestly think Thiago will surpass Riccy. Riccy lacked strength and wasn't the best of players in the air. Still one of the best defenders I've ever seen. Whether Thiago will reach Nesta's level or even become better than him.. that's a tough task.

Hmm.. With Juan Mata arriving I'm going to pass on saying David Silva.

Sergio Aguero I think. I would've said Suarez, but he's a cunt

Hit the nail on the head, Aguero is probably my favourite non chelsea player. Been watching him ever since we we're first linked and I just fell in love with his game.

Speaking of Thiago Silva I remember when we were linked with him heavily back just around the time with signed Ivanovich, he was being quoted at around 4 mil. Now his worth probably 7 times that. Hummels looks solid alright, think he would be more suited to the premiership as well.

Hummels is just 22 though so the heights he could reach are frightening to say the least.

Exactly ... Imagine BVB's future if they could manage to keep him and Subotic together for a decade or so. But I'm afraid that as soon as they have a bad season, the vultures will start circling over those two. Can see him returning to Bayern if it happens.

Haha fine by me mate :D

Haha fair enough. Hummels is just 22 though so the heights he could reach are frightening to say the least.

Definitely. I can't wait to see him and Gotze in the UCl this season. The german National team scares me to death tbh lol. Similar to Belgian and Spanish NT. . . Too many talent to choose from
